We had the good fortune of connecting with Gina Marie Burck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gina Marie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Google how to lose weight and you are bombarded with 3 million results and 5 different quick fix ads. It was no wonder so many women were so stuck and confused in their fitness and health journey. I started Commit to Fit Coaching to break through the noise of the fad diet industry, the quick fix schemes, and help women get real, sustainable results in their health, and help them create the best version of themselves.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Commit to Fit Coaching teaches women that fitness is a catalyst for personal development. When you start to focus on this one area, and commit to living a healthier life, all other areas of life not only improve, but thrive. Everyone starts at square one, not really knowing what to do in the gym, what to eat, or how to actually workout effectively. We teach & educate our clients so that we’re the very last coach they ever have, and they have all the tools and skills they need to feel empowered to take on their fitness & health for life. We teach women how to lift heavy, eat well, and create a balanced lifestyle they love, so they can go on and have more confidence in the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Denver has been my home for a few years, but Boulder is where I started. I would take them to the Laughing Goat in Boulder for some coffee, Chautauqua Park to hike the flatirons, stop at Salt on Pearl Street for happy hour, and pop into PressPlay for game night. We’d catch a rockies game if it’s summer, stop by 10 barrel brewery to cool off, and finish at North Italia in Cherry Creek for the best pizza & pasta! If you can get into the mountains, Buena Vista is my favorite spot for camping & hiking, and they have the best ice cream shop downtown!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my significant other, Geoff Correnti. Without his endless support to move in the direction of my dreams, I would have never even started my own business. He’s loved me, supported me, and challenged me since day 1, and I could not ask for a better hype man & partner.
