Meet Giseleine Chain Dogon | Licensed Esthetician & Your Bliss curator (skin, body, energy)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Giseleine Chain Dogon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Giseleine, what principle do you value most?
Empowerment is the value I hold closest. I want everyone who crosses my path—whether it’s through a service, a conversation, or simply witnessing how I move—to feel more capable of taking control in the areas of life that matter most to them. Whether it’s skin, confidence, business, or boundaries, I believe in helping people reconnect with their own power. When you remember you’re the one in charge of your healing, your joy, and your direction—it changes everything. That’s what I want to spark in people

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Your Bliss Skin & Body Care is built on the belief that skincare should feel like an experience, not a chore. We’re not your average spa—we focus on customized, results-driven treatments that support skin health while honoring the full person behind the skin. What sets us apart is the way we combine high-quality products, holistic techniques, and intentional care to create something personal and powerful for each client.
It wasn’t always easy getting here. Building this business took grit, heart, and a lot of late nights. There were times when money was tight, time was tighter, and I had to pour into my clients even while I was running on empty. But I leaned on creativity, stayed adaptable, and never lost sight of why I started. I focused on giving every client an exceptional experience—even when I didn’t have all the bells and whistles. That mindset helped me grow a loyal community and refine the kind of brand I wanted to build.
Now, nearly a decade later, I’m proud of how far we’ve come. Your Bliss has become more than a business—it’s a trusted space. Clients know they’ll be cared for, educated, and empowered. The lesson I’ve learned through it all? You don’t have to do it perfectly—you just have to keep doing it with intention. And this summer, I’m celebrating 10 years of building that intention into something lasting, beautiful, and full of bliss

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Colorado Springs for a week, I’d make sure they felt nourished, inspired, and just a little bit spoiled. We’d kick things off with a tea experience at Zenith Moon Co—it’s such a peaceful, grounding way to start the trip and sets the tone for rest and reconnection. I’d treat them to the Sweetest Bliss Facial at Your Bliss Skin & Body Care (of course!)—it’s my signature treatment and the perfect way to melt tension and leave their skin absolutely glowing.
We’d commemorate the trip with permanent jewelry from Wellness Matters, and while we’re there, I’d ask Sharon to guide us through a sound bath—her energy is unmatched, and it’s such a deeply soothing experience.
Food-wise, we’d absolutely hit Four by Brother Luck for an unforgettable meal that feels both elevated and welcoming. Later in the week, we’d dress up a little and do dinner at The Manhattan Room—it’s perfect for a vibe-y, elegant night out with craft cocktails and a little sparkle.
For nature, I’d take them to Palmer Park. It’s one of my favorite spots to hike because you can get a little lost in the best way—but still feel safe, since you’re technically still in the city. The views, the trail variety, the pause it gives your brain—it’s a must.
One afternoon would definitely be reserved for wandering downtown with a lemonade from Pikes Peak Lemonade Co. in hand. There are so many cute shops, local galleries, and tucked-away eateries that make the whole area feel like a choose-your-own-adventure.
The whole week would be a mix of cozy, curated experiences and open time to just be—the kind of trip that fills you up and leaves you better than it found you

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give a huge shoutout to my village. There’s no way I’d be where I am without the people who poured into me when my cup was low—friends who reminded me of who I am, clients who trusted me before I had all the fancy things, and mentors who saw potential when I was still figuring it all out. My husband has stood beside me through big pivots and quiet rebuilds, and I’ve been lucky to learn from women who live boldly and love deeply. They’ve all helped shape the path I’m on—and for that, I am eternally grateful for my village
