We had the good fortune of connecting with Greg Maloney and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Greg, what matters most to you?
Being of service to my clients. If I can be of service to my clients, I can find a purpose in that work. In having a purpose, I find my passion.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have a personal training business based in Denver Colorado. I provide a spectrum of services serving a variety of clients. I coach bodybuilding clients for bodybuilding competitions. I help clients completely transform their lives by helping them find their purpose and their passion in life. I help them gain a new relationship with food, with the gym and how they see their bodies. As a personal trainer I specialize in helping people connect to their muscle, lose weight and build muscle and lift properly. I help people train with intention and purpose and help them to understand why they are doing what they are doing. I got into being a personal trainer because I love being in the gym and I found that it is my greatest passion. Being that I am providing such a great service to people in helping them completely revolutionize their lives, it has given me a great purpose in life! It HAS been easy because it is what I love to do and I get to help people when I do it. I believe I was put on this earth to be of service to others. The biggest lesson I have learned along the way is to be a better listener, that if my mouth is moving then I am not listening. What I want people to know about my business is that we are in the business of changing people’s lives, often times saving their lives in giving people something to be excited about in life…Honoring themselves so they can then show up stronger for others in their lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I personally love ACE the ping pong place in downtown Denver. I would also take people to Red Rocks so they can see our beautiful city in the morning time and also see the majestic red rocks in our front range. Then I would book a little stay at one of my favorite natural hot springs, Strawberry Park in Steamboat Springs. The drive down into Steamboat is really beautiful and a great display of our Rocky Mountains. There is so much to do in our city. I don’t drink alcohol and even without alcohol, there is a plethora of incredible fun to be had in Denver.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have three people in particular that I need to shout out to. Gary Duhn, a spiritual and life advisor helped me find my passion and purpose and gave me courage to take the risk in doing what I love. Seija Nelson, my partner helps me stay confident in what I am doing, inspires me and supports me in all of my work; and Brice Hancock my Business Mastermind accountabilibuddy that helps me break thru patterns of doubt and helps with new ideas to breach new heights in business and perspective.
