Hi Haley, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I founded my business with a clear mission: to ensure every couple feels seen and heard during their wedding planning journey, which I like to call planning their ‘Love Party.’ As marriage evolves, it increasingly centers on love, transcending traditional boundaries. Historically, the wedding industry has catered primarily to heterosexual couples, often overlooking the unique needs and rights of LGBTQ+ individuals and others. I’m committed to challenging these norms and fostering a more inclusive environment. By adapting traditions and creating unique experiences, I aim to celebrate love in all its forms and push for substantial changes in the industry. This ensures every couple not only feels safe and supported but also joyously celebrated.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a reflection of my journey through life, embodying themes of love, diversity, and celebration. What sets me apart in the crowded field of wedding planning is my dedication to creating experiences that aren’t just weddings, but true celebrations of individuality and couples love stories. I am particularly proud of my focus on inclusivity, ensuring that every Love Party we craft celebrates the unique story of the couple, disregarding traditional norms to embrace all forms of love.

The path to where I am professionally wasn’t easy. The event planning industry is complex and often resistant to change, especially when it comes to redefining what a wedding should look like. I overcame these challenges by steadfastly believing in my vision and persistently advocating for change, even when it meant taking the road less traveled. Along the way, I learned the importance of resilience and adaptability—not just in terms of business strategies, but also in continuously evolving my understanding of what my clients need and want.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that true success comes from passion and perseverance. Every setback was an opportunity to learn and every challenge a stepping stone to greater achievements. I’ve learned that listening—truly listening—to my clients’ stories and dreams, and reflecting those in my work, is what makes the difference between a standard service and an unforgettable experience.

What I want the world to know about my brand and my story is that at its heart, it’s about more than just planning Love Parties; it’s about celebrating life’s greatest moments in ways that resonate deeply and personally with those involved. My brand stands for a future where every love story is celebrated without boundaries, and where every couple can feel proud to share their journey. I’m excited about continuing to push the boundaries of what wedding planning can be and playing a part in crafting a more inclusive and celebratory world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d ensure it’s packed with unforgettable experiences. We’d kick things off by checking the Red Rocks concert calendar to snag tickets for a mesmerizing outdoor concert, an absolute must-do for any music lover. If we get a wild hair, we might also hit up Mission Ballroom for a night of lively music, great vibes, and that beautiful disco ball

As a self-proclaimed foodie, dining at my favorite spots is non-negotiable. We’d start with a fresh, vibrant meal at The Corner Beet, followed by some hearty delights at 303 Ramen. For a bit of local flavor, we’d visit Bluegrass Coffee and Bourbon to enjoy some soul-soothing beverages. And, of course, we’d indulge in some exquisite sushi from one of the top spots I frequent.

No trip to Denver would be complete without a venture into the mountains. We’d escape to Breckenridge for a day or two to soak in the charming small-town ambiance and stunning scenery, perhaps with some hiking or just relaxing in the fresh mountain air.

Throughout the week, we’d explore the local scene, from bustling markets to quaint bookshops and lively bars. Denver is a city of vibrant people and places, each corner offering a new adventure. It’s the perfect mix of urban excitement and natural beauty, ensuring that every moment of the visit is filled with fun, fascination, and a fair share of relaxation.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe a great deal of my success to a remarkable circle of support. First and foremost, I have to acknowledge my business partner, Kristina. She joined me in this venture with unwavering commitment and an incredible knack for getting things done. Kristina’s energy is infectious, her efficiency unmatched, and she consistently ensures our clients are more than just satisfied.

Next, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all my friends and family. They have been my steadfast supporters from the very beginning, always believing in me and serving as my personal cheerleaders during challenging times.

Lastly, I must acknowledge the significant contributions of our partners, Sean and Chad. Sean has been my rock and has been instrumental in bringing our new brand visions to life. Meanwhile, Chad jumped in eagerly, asking how he could support our dream, and has played a pivotal role in making our rebrand launch party a success.

Each of these individuals plays an integral role in my story, and I am immensely grateful for their love and encouragement.
