Hi Isabella, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk-taking? Honey, I view risks the same way I see high heels – occasionally uncomfortable, but oh-so-worth the elevation! In my journey, risks have been the unexpected detours leading to the most scenic routes. The world’s not just huge, it’s a colossal playground! Being a content creator and social media manager, I’m riding the ever-twisting roller-coaster of the internet. New trends pop up faster than I can say “selfie”! If I’m not taking a risk now and then, I might as well be using dial-up. Sure, sometimes I whip up a masterpiece and it gets the applause of a cricket, but, hey, at least I had the courage to try! Without taking a few daring leaps, my life would be a never-ending loop of ‘what ifs’. Where’s the fun in always playing it safe? So, when life asks me to gamble? I wink, throw on my metaphorical stilettos, and cha-cha with chance!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, let me spill the tea! Having ADHD means doing just one thing feels like trying to nail jelly to a wall. By 25, I had hopped through 12 jobs, and no, I wasn’t playing musical chairs. Some might raise an eyebrow at that, but hey, I wear it like a badge of honor. It’s not out of indecision but an insatiable thirst for experience. Each job was a chapter, a story, a lesson. I’ve never been fired and have always been fabulous. Now, I manage social media channels, co-host the podcast “Moments That Define Us,” and an artist, I’m the Jack (or Jill) of all trades. But let’s rewind a bit, because I didn’t start here right after graduating from college.

9-5 office jobs? Honey, I tried, especially right after college. In the land of cubicles and coffee breaks, I attempted to fit in. But sitting still was like asking a butterfly not to flutter its wings. The corporate world, with its rigid routines, wasn’t my scene. So, I kissed the corporate world goodbye and decided to dance to my own beat.
I then landed a social media internship with a mental health company called “Silk and Sonder”. And not to brag, but I crushed it! I helped them create a paid ad that they still use today, boasting over 50 million views! I loved it, but I didn’t enjoy working for others. So, I launched my own social media management company and immediately secured a few clients!

However, I did burn out and decided to take a break. Social media, as we all know, can be a tough world. So, I transitioned to being a visual merchandiser at Forever 21. As someone with a degree in fashion, this was my dream job. Yes, I got to style the mannequins and design the store layout! But retail can be brutal. The emotional toll and the meager pay weren’t worth it, so I moved on.

That’s when I discovered the PERFECT job! I became a Brand Ambassador. And before you jump to conclusions, yes, I wear many hats! This role is part time and allows me to be creative without the financial stress. For those unfamiliar, a brand ambassador humanizes a brand. So for the other part, I manage social media channels, co-host the podcast “Moments That Define Us,” and create art.

Speaking of art, ever seen a discarded mannequin and thought, “What a waste!”? I see potential. I transform them into surreal feminist masterpieces, making them stand tall in a world ready to discard them. When I’m not re-imagining mannequins, I’m producing the next viral video or diving deep into stories on my podcast.
I oversee a few social media art pages and adore collaborating with creative individuals. There’s always something new to learn!

I launched my podcast “Moments That Define Us” with my co-host, Iryna, who was once my au pair. Ever felt like you’re constantly lagging, and everyone else’s life seems fantastic? I’ve been there, especially on social media. Today’s world bombards us with ads and fleeting trends. Our podcast aims to share REAL experiences and authentic stories, with the soul purpose to uplift listeners. In a world where we often feel disconnected, and divided, we’re sharing stories, because, stories are the threads that weave us all together.

So, what’s my brand? It’s simple: Be unapologetically you, embrace the chaos, and always, ALWAYS, find a way to sparkle in the midst of it all. Life isn’t about fitting into someone else’s narrative. It’s about crafting your own, filled with twists, turns, and delightful moments.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Alright, confession time: I’m a MASSIVE animal enthusiast. The animal sanctuary? Basically my version of Disneyland. It’s where majestic creatures get their groove back! So, buckle up, because that’s our first pit stop. Once we’ve had our fill of furry friends, how about we channel our inner Picassos at one of Denver’s sip-and-paint joints? I mean, wine in one hand, paintbrush in the other – what’s not to love?

But wait, there’s more! I’m all about those escape room vibes. Denver’s practically bursting with them, and I’m on a mission to conquer ’em all. So, that’s next on our wild ride. And because food is life, we’ll dive into a new eatery. With so many tantalizing spots in town, I’ve got a culinary bucket list to tick off!

As for day two? Picture this: us, paddle boarding at Chatfield, followed by some brewery munchies. Because, why not?

Big shoutout to the fabulous Iryna Barnett! She’s not just my co-host on the “Moments That Define Us” podcast, but she’s also been my guiding star and partner-in-crime since I was knee-high to a grasshopper (that’s age 6, for those wondering). This Ukrainian queen is the epitome of selflessness. I’ve seen her open her home for refugees escaping the war. And talk about #MomGoals! She’s acing motherhood while still being the sweetest peach in the orchard. Plus, her sense of humor? Off the charts! With her around, who needs therapy when you can just laugh it off?

Well, obviously, my family and friends are the wind beneath my wings! I mean, where would I be without their never-ending pep talks and midnight snack runs? Both my parents are artsy-fartsy types, and they’ve sprinkled their creative fairy dust on me since day one. And my partner? Talk about a workaholic dynamo! Always there, nudging me to up my game and be my best!
