We had the good fortune of connecting with Jackie Isvanca and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jackie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I decided to start this business after bring in the industry for 10 years. I had worked at many bakeries over the years and finally decided that this is something I needed to do for myself. We began as a small mom and pop mobile business, in a cupcake trailer that sucesfully ran for 3 months before our brick and mortar location became available. We jumped on the opportunity to open a store front in Wellington and have been loving every minute of it ever since!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Here at The Cakery, we pride ourselves on having high quality products. Our cupcakes are larger than your average cupcake but still comparable in price. We offer great discounts on our cupcakes everyday, on 4, 6 and 12 packs. We are also very proud to offer deliciously moist Gluten Free and Vegan cupcakes as well!
We got to where we are today with a lot of hard work, but also a lot of support from our community and family.
We are a small bakery with a big passion for baking up delisious treats for our customers to enjoy!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We owe so much of our success to our family. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the hard work and support of so many family members volunteering to help us along the way.
