We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacob Knoblock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacob, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Flexibility, freedom and no creative or monetary limitations.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Religious Ink Tattoo has been a dream of mine since I was 15. That dream thankfully became a reality at 25, took every dollar my partner and I had, and the equivalent of working 120 hours a week every week for months to pull this off. All the way to moving in all the furniture three days before we opened and handled 150 clients in 2 days. I’ve learned to be nothing but patient, calm and collected with each and every single decision I make. No part of this is or was easy but by the Grace of God we were able to overcome each and everything successfully. Religious Ink Tattoo is a Christian owned business catering to the folks out there who don’t want all the negativity and stigmas you get with other tattoo shops; this is a very selfish and dark industry and we’re out to change that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
1; Urban Egg Eatery 2; Religious Ink Tattoo 😉
3; O’malleys Steak pub
4; Elitch Gardens
5: King’s Chef Diner

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I contribute all of my success to the grace of God himself.
