We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaime Schmier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaime, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The unquvitable support from my two best friends to bring this product to light. We all came together this summer and decided with the cost of inflation and the cost of good quality food. We decided we wanted to bring something amazing to the food market for affordable cost and great quality food.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When people think of something instant especially when it comes to food. We all think of instant mashed potatoes. We all know those are the most disgusting things on earth so when we decided that we wanted to have instant refried beans the first goal. Was to make for sure they tasted amazing after they were cooked and dehydrated and all the water dispersed from it. We successfully completed that goal so our biggest slogan is it might be instant but it’s not disgusting like an instant mashed potato we all know instant mashed potatoes no matter what you add are disgusting we also took great time out to make for sure that our recipe on the back of our bag matches what really needs to be done you should not have to modify the recipe to make it good the manufacturer should have done that for you we believe that’s what makes us apart that our product was the best on the market and we hold heartedly believe that to this day.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First place we would let them experience nature in Colorado so we would take them to the amazing flat irons. Second place you got to go to one of the best restaurants in our opinion is BJ brewhouse it’s a great environment lovely staff nice relaxing. Then for something fun to do inside the Denver aquarium is the next best place.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The credit would go to Cal Farley’s boys ranch in Texas. Without being raised there this company would not exist today they taught me how to become a hard worker be supportive and to not be afraid to take risks that’s one aspect the other one is my best friend Josh Corral without meeting him 8 years ago none of this could have happened either Timothy Morado the final great friend in the trio of jjt beans these two guys and I come together and we can make anything happen we always support each other. We have great discussions about how things should be ran and what we should do next and each one of us is a giant gear in the food business each one of us has a special part and we all take care of each other.
