Meet Jamie Lange | Marketing, Creative Direction

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Lange and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
For me, starting my own business happened organically. I’ve always been a “yes, and?” type of person, so even when I was working full-time I was taking on side projects that felt valuable to me. After a few years of this and guidance from some amazing mentors, I realized the importance of investing time and energy into forming my own LLC and site, and it’s something that I’ll continue to grow, nurture and develop.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Right now I’m really excited to be working on branding, website design, and content creation for a range companies. I love that these types of projects require both big picture thinking and devil in the details execution. It’s exciting to be at this point in my career where companies feel confident in my ability to create their brands digital identity, and that they are happy with the results each step of the way.

While it’s an exciting time, it certainly hasn’t always been this way. One of the most important things I’ve learned along the way is to have the right team around you. If you meet someone who’s incredibility talented and wonderful to work with, bring them onto a project! Everyone benefits.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My go-to weekend is in the mountains. I love taking friends on split-boarding adventures with a boombox through the Rockies. There’s something about choosing your own line up and down the mountain through uncharted territory that feels so exceptionally new each time. To be truly out in nature is one of the most cathartic and rewarding experiences.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been so many incredible humans who’ve inspired, guided, mentored and supported me through this lifetime. I hold endless gratitude to each person who’s presence has expanded my perception of the world. To shout out one person in particular, it would have to be Mom, she’s been a rockstar in my life since day one.
