Meet Janine Pendleton | Certified Peristeam Facilitator & Menstrual Alchemist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Janine Pendleton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Janine, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I dove into Pelvic Steaming after some infertility hurdles and then the traumatic birth of my first son. Once I learned and developed my practice of steaming, I saw how much of a significant impact it made on my health, sanity, self-esteem, and healing my trauma. I knew I needed to share this information with other women and bodies who menstruate. After steaming myself for years, I studied and became a certified Peristeam facilitator. I launched my business in Early 2023 and it fills me with so much joy and passion to see other women taking control of their bodies and menstruation. I am lucky to have a private office I like to call the “Womb Room” where I hold Vaginal Steaming rituals curating a safe and tranquil space to nourish your womb space, realign your energy and transmute what is no longer needed resulting in improved pelvic health and menstruation.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Janine Pendleton. I am the founder of Divine Cycle Steams.

I help women develop amazing relationships with their Wombs and Vaginas allowing the flow of their greatest desires to come forth. Through my private Vaginal Steaming services, Group Coaching, and Private Coaching programs I am here to guide you back to your authentic self and the portal of creation inside of you. Womb health and energetic flow is the key to manifesting the life of your dreams. It is imperative that women and other menstruating bodies reconnect with this feminine magic.

What sets me apart from others is, well there are no others in Northern Colorado that are specifically focused on Vaginal Steaming, in fact, I have not seen peristeaming advertised as a service yet by any other businesses. Furthermore, this is not a service like getting your nails done, this is an experience, a ritual, a sacred space for healing mind, body, and soul. We are reconnecting to the womb space, healing our relationship with our menstruation, and creating the life of our dreams.

I want people to know that you have the power to take your womb health into your own hands. You have the ability to transmute pains and traumas that have tucked themselves into our most powerful tool, the womb. I want people to know that menstruation is the most magical time for your body. I want people to also know that painful, dreadful, agonizing menstruation is NOT NORMAL and you can realign to a healthy menses with Vaginal Steaming.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Growing up in the foothills and being currently nestled here again raising my family, I love the Poudre River. When my friends come in from out of town we love to stroll at Watson Lake along the path by the river. Then taking a drive up to the Mishawaka for lunch overlooking the river is always a favorite. Often you can see mountain goats on the side of the hill, and also you can see rafters and kayakers floating down the river. It’s such a great experience. My other favorite little gem in Laporte is Me Oh My Coffee and Pie. Stop by for a fisherman’s lunch, a sandwich chips and a slice of pie to head up the canyon with. Triple Berry Pie is my favorite from that crew!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Keli Garza, the founder of Steamy Chick and the Peristeam Hydrotherapy Institute has been such an inspiration and guiding force in the steaming world. She is transparent, inclusive, and passionate. She has revived Vaginal Steaming from an almost lost matriarchal art to a powerful divine feminine movement.

I also could not have done this without the encouragement and guidance of Montana Glenn from Glenn Fertility and Family Wellness in Ft. Collins, CO. She has provided such support and encouragement on this path of mine. They don’t make many humans as golden as her. The work she does for the community is top-notch and she is a grounding force for her clients.
