We had the good fortune of connecting with Jared Gant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jared, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Morning and evening routines have had a huge impact on me and the success of my business. Starting and ending the day on the right foot sets the tone for the rest of the day. Both my wife and I start our day together, reviewing our schedules, drinking coffee, and some meditation and journaling. We end the day by putting our kids to bed, relaxing with either a book or tv, and having lights off at 10PM.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
JMGant Photography is Colorado’s premier wedding photography studio serving all of Colorado, including Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Estes Park, Vail, Aspen and beyond. We have an style that is founded in photojournalism and emphasizes a deep, creative flair using bold colors and expert lighting techniques. We see your day, as it is, through a creative lens. The results are real, one-of-kind wedding artistry. We are not simply photographers; we are artists capturing the moments as they actually happen, as creatively as possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Denver is fantastic and has loads of things to do and visit, but I would recommend to friends to leave the city and head into the mountains. This is where Colorado really shines. My favorite area to visit is Estes Park via Highway 7. This is a scenic byway that passes through several small mountain towns, past gorgeous mountain vistas and you’re bound to see some wildlife too. Ones in Estes, stroll through the downtown area where you’ll find several boutique shops and local restaurants. After spending time in the downtown area, head into Rocky Mountain National Park and hike to some of their waterfalls or lakes.
