We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Cummings and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Everyone knows that in real estate it’s all about location, location, location. What fewer people realize is the importance of community. I notice that in real estate, and in business period, the relationship between clients and the businesses that serve them are purely transactional. Put another way, it is far more common for a business or agent to view a consumer or client as a tool to greater profit than as a human being looking for a service. A good example of this is the trend of depersonalization of the real estate transaction brought about by discount internet brokers. Don’t get me wrong, I believe that technology improvements are crucial to improving the experience for clients, but I think many people still prefer to have personalized attention to their needs for one of the biggest financial decisions there is. My team and I are devoted to providing this level of service to everyone that we work with and we think it pays off. The proof is in the number of repeat clients and referrals that we have the opportunity to work with.

What should our readers know about your business?
For the most part, my career has organically evolved to where it is today. I started in real estate as part of a team focused solely on helping to connect prospective homeowners with the perfect new build Infinity home. Over time, my knowledge of the new build market and real estate market overall grew, and so did my passion for the industry.

During those years working with Infinity and homeowners, not only did I gain valuable experience that has continued to benefit myself and my clients, but I made relationships that have served as the foundation of my business to this day. Myself and my team have truly bought into the idea that it is our job to elevate the real estate process for our clients. We do this by owning more of the process than an average realtor and relying on the systems and contractors that we have in place to simplify the process for our clients while also providing a first class experience. We think the results speak for themselves as much of our production is driven by referrals and reviews. More importantly, nothing gives us more satisfaction than a satisfied client.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To me, Denver is all about the mix of urban and outdoor living, so whenever someone comes to visit I try to show off the city and the mountains. My ideal day is to head to the mountains in the morning for a hike, maybe at Red Rocks park, Lookout Mountain, or Golden Gate Canyon State Park and then go to a local restaurant or brewery to reward the effort. One of my favorite areas to show off is the RiNo arts district to give a taste of Denver’s creative spirit and local craft beer and food scene. Another one of my favorite spots for food and drinks is the Denver Milk Market.

Denver is also one of the top sports cities in the country, so it’s always a great time to catch a game with friends at Mile High, Coors Field, Ball Arena, or Dick’s Sporting Goods Arena. The options are endless, which is one of my favorite parts about where my family and I call home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My clients are the driving force behind my business success, and my family is the driving force behind my personal success.
