Meet Jayne Sanders | Travel Ambassador, Dream Trips International

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jayne Sanders and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jayne, how do you think about risk?
Risk is relative, right? What feels like risk to one person may not phase another. I believe success as an entrepreneur is almost impossible without taking risk, it’s part of the game. That doesn’t mean jump blindly off a cliff, it means wear your parachute and have a soft spot below to land on, but do jump! I started my first business 30 years ago, now I’m on my third. Each one felt like a risk, but I used a parachute by asking for help, using coaches, doing my homework and my due diligence.
I take an assumed risk every day when I ride my horse! I ride in city parks with horse trails, but even with signs reminding people of leash laws, I see dogs off-leash several times a week and was hurt very badly a couple years ago because one charged my horse. But riding is very important to me! So I take the risk and keep my eyes open. So, being clear on your priorities helps determine how much risk you can tolerate.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a Travel Ambassador with Dream Trips International, I help people gain more freedom through extra income and travel! Money and travel are two of the top ways to experience freedom! It’s a travel membership with over a million members, trips in over 75 countries, and, wait for it, a 90% retention rate! Once someone joins Dream Trips, they stay because of the incredible value.
I was looking for something new and different. I asked in my mediation one morning for a business idea that would be fun, exciting, and easier to build more quickly than my past coaching business. Voila! Within two days Dream Trips came into my awareness, I researched it thoroughly (to reduce the risk), and was in within a couple weeks.
I’m not a travel agent, I don’t do any of that planning or detail work. I get to introduce to people the gifts of extra income and travel at unbeatable prices! I love talking with people, and helping them achieve more freedom and money if that’s what they want.
It’s not for everyone, that’s something I’ve learned. But nothing is! As long as I do my part and give people the chance to explore it, I’ve done my job. I don’t feel it is selling, it is introducing a possibility, and an exciting one at that!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a good friend were coming to Denver for a visit, first I would take them to my Sunday coffee group. We meet every week and we all look forward to it very much! During the week I would take her to High Tea, either at Lumber Baron Inn or at the Brown Palace. During any season but winter, we would drive over Guanella Pass and picnic along the way. Our itinerary would also include a drive up to Silverthorne and take the back road to Breckenridge for lunch at one of many options there. Shopping is great there too. If she were a plant lover, we would explore Denver Botanic Gardens, maybe get tickets to see the Monet Immersive Experience, and go out to the Wild Animal Sanctuary. I think that’s good for a week, as we would also want to just hang, go on nature walks at Lakewood’s Stone House and Belmar Park, and take out my horse!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My most recent business offers me support and mentorship every day! The leadership of Dream Trips International is heart-centered, loving, generous and committed to helping the Ambassadors build their teams. The world needs more communities like this one! I’m proud to be a part of this company.
