Meet Jayson Gaddis | Founder, The Relationship School

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jayson Gaddis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jayson, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I got tired of complaining that there’s no relationship class in high school or college, so I started a school who’s sole purpose is to help others connect more deeply, work through conflict better, and become better communicators

What should our readers know about your business?
The Relationship School helps people go from frustrating and painful relationship dynamics to relationships where they can be fully themselves and get what they want, at the same time!
We also train relationship coaches and help our coaches launch their new careers working from home.
This has been no easy feat. Business is not my area of expertise. I just wanted to help people. But I realized I had to learn marketing and business if I wanted to reach more people. It’s been super hard because deep down I’m just a creative guy who wants to help. When I get stuck in the business, I lose my creativity. So, it’s a real balance of learning how to become a better delegator and do what I’m best at.
I want the world to know we are here to help. We have a mission to reach 1,000,000 teens and 10,000,000 families through solid relationship education. We want to create a more relationally literate, sensitive, and empowered world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When friends visit, I always get on the trails, hit a great coffee shop like the Trident Cafe, juice spot like Wonder, and then eat at a solid restaurant like The Kitchen, Salt, or Fresh Thymes.
A favorite trail is the Mesa Trail, or Boulder Valley Ranch if you want full sun and no crowds.
But my ultimate favorite spot is my own home with my family. I love having friends over to meet my fam.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to acknowledge Dr John Demartini. Without his guidance, I would have not gotten serious about business and helping others on a larger scale.
