We had the good fortune of connecting with Seven Amun Sun Ra and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Seven do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Gratitude Is Our Daily Attitude! It’s a affirmation that resonates with our frequency we share to our community yet the whole entire Universe! With this affirmation all flows with ease and manifesting comes so naturally!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our artist are connected from all over the world to name a few. Lily aka @un_cursed has traveled from Mexico City to participate in all our Jam Sessions to graffiti spray a 4×8 plywood and our Garage. Then we have Mario Mena aka @_marmena he comes from Gage Park Chicago and a huge advocate for mental health not just for his community yet for the whole city..Skanks The Rap Martyr is a Hiphop Emcee that comes from Brooklyn NY that comes here for not just to Emcee but for healing. as well.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well first and foremost our Brick and Mortar is set up for soultribe family to stay with us. Most meals would be handled by @msellashealingkitchen. Certain spots we would go to for meals would be Kale My Name, Kalish and Native Foods. Hanging out we would go on a Graffiti Tour Guide which in Chicago that takes a week alone. Also we would go on a bicycle ride for a more interactive neighborhood tour. We would go to Lake Michigan for sunrise and sunset meditation. Grab the greatest Vegan Pizza in the city. Take a Frank Lloyd Wright Home Tour..Go on a all surrounding suburban tour. L train Tour. Take a Riverwalk walk visit all the great parks our city has to offer. It’s always something to do here in Chicago.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
As Co-Founders of the Blue Moon Art Gallery and Healing Spa, we first acknowledge that connecting with each other through our love for Hiphop was the catalyst to our success. We made it our mission to dedicate ourselves to the preservation of the 9 Elements of Hiphop, with focus on Street Entrepreneurialism. We took the time to invest in our own talents and connect with our soul tribe of healers who run their own businesses and non-profit organizations. The Crystal Garden {crystal shop} in Evergreen, Colorado and the Quarry (Real Men Charities Inc.) in Chicago were both extremely instrumental in forming a clear vision of our art gallery & healing spa. This includes our in house and mobile crystal shop, Ms Ella’s Healing Kitchen vegan food and healing beverages, an outdoor event space with fire pit, stage and graffiti wall, blacklight therapy, massage and mirror work rooms & Seven Got Fotos Photography Firm. We are blessed to work with healing partners such as Qi One Earth Goddess with her healing services found on luxerywellnesssparetreat.com, Demi Pots @demi.pots.pastries, Lady K @ladyksapotheca, On the Rocks Crystal Shop of Chicago, and Planet Unicorn Collection (to name a few lol). Paint The City along with Renegades of Funk are two Chicago Based Non Profit organizations that have handed us huge opportunities to vend healing crystals and build out that side of our business this Summer. Through those events we have connected with countless individuals, healers, artists and organizations who have encouraged and propelled us forward.
