Meet Jen Peppler | Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jen Peppler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jen, what do you want your legacy to be?
It’s simple, I want people to remember me by the way I loved. This is the driving passion behind why I started my business. My desire was to create a platform where I could connect with people on a personal level to therefore create opportunities to speak truth, love and affirmations into peoples lives. I truly believe that there is far more good in the world than bad, and that as we partner with being a catalyst for creating beauty we can be part of the solution for creating mindset change into this world. We have the opportunity, every day, to be the good in this world, and to speak words of love over someone that might desperately need to be seen. Sometimes we don’t even know how impactful our words and interactions with people can be, and it can be the smallest moment that can mean the world to someone. It’s these small moments that I live for. It’s these moments that make me push more, work harder, and what make all those tough moments of being a business owner worth it. I truly love my customers, and anyone who’s had a conversation with me knows it too. They are the reason why I do this and they are the driving force behind my brand.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Pure by Jennifer Christine began in January 2021, but has been in the works for years before that. I had played around with starting my business but something always stopped me from doing it. My friend Tina Beauvais opened up a sweet little local boutique here in Greeley Colorado and was looking to add some local vendor products into her storefront. I hadn’t officially started my company yet, but I had a product, so I took the leap of faith and reached out to her. I still don’t know why, but she said yes, and her believing in me to do it was all I needed to finally push through and say now is the time to do this! I started selling my products in her boutique and have since expanded to Local Farmers Markets, as well as large vendor events like Vintage Market Days and other local events. To say I started out running was an understatement. If anything, I pray that my journey and how my business started, encourages anyone out there that might be sitting on an idea or a dream. Maybe they don’t know what’s stopping them from taking that first step out in faith. Dare I say that sometimes WE are the reason why things haven’t happened in our lives yet? To that person…just do it, all the little details will come together. The hardest step is the first one, but you have everything inside of you to make it happen!

We are very proud to offer nontoxic beauty, bath & home products you can fully trust. We believe that less is more in regards to ingredients. I solely curate each formula, start to finish, putting hours of research into each one making sure they will be the perfect blend texture and smell. I scour suppliers for the very best ingredients from earthy carrier oils, beautiful botanicals, locally wild crafted herbs and beeswax, ethically sourced minerals and pure organic essential oils and scents. Our ethos comes from using natural ingredients, as close to the earth as possible, as well as using organic, non-GMO, fair trade & ethically sourced ingredients whenever possible.

I started my own non-toxic journey back in 2014 as I set out to start making my own products. I was so sick of not knowing what was in my products, and since realizing that there are many companies out there that claim to be clean companies but are not. That coupled with my skin reacting to products I was just over it! What became a hobby soon grew into a passion of mine. Now I love curating nontoxic products and I’ve just recently started excepting some custom orders.

What’s to come?
We are very excited about what’s to come with pure by Jennifer Christine. Skies the limit and we’re just getting started! We have a lot of plans and ideas in the near future. We are looking at expanding our reach in markets throughout Northern Colorado. We will be adding custom curated boxes for numerous purposes and also seasonally. We have new products dropping all the time. We will also be adding more local growers to our list of suppliers (I’m very excited about this!) as well as partnering with some other businesses and nonprofits in the future…more to come on that!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being a natural introvert this is a hard question for me! For me it’s all about the company, not where we go, but since you asked…we currently reside in Greeley CO and my favorite spot is just a few blocks from our house. Glenmere Park is just north of UNC campus and the most beautiful park in town. The large trees surrounding the park bring the calming sound of summer Acadia and shade from the heat. We often go and stroll around the two ponds and catch frogs jumping from the lily pads. We people watch and look at the stunning houses with amazing architectural designs while our kids play at the playground or skip rocks on the pond. Mexican food is my families jam so we would hit all the local amazing Mexican food joints, especially my fave Rancho Alegre. Last but not least we would most definitely hit the local Farmers Market in Greeley, especially since its labeled the #1 best farmers market in northern Colorado!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There have been so many people that have helped me to get where I am today, where do I even begin?

First and foremost, my husband Joshua, who has encouraged me to step out in whatever passions the Lord has called me into. He has been my #1 cheerleader along the way, supporting me to be the best version of myself and always calling me higher and pulling out the gold inside of me.

So many friends and family members (especially my mom, sister and dear friend Angie) sharing posts, buying products, being my testers, giving me positive feedback, and believing in me always!

Last but not least, my Arkitekt sisters…the ones who see me so clearly. The ones who pull out the depth inside my heart and the ones who tell me (over and over again) how capable I am. You all have been my inspiration. The depth of friendship we have is an impossible thing to fully grasp or even fully convey. I know…you know, and I am forever grateful.
