We had the good fortune of connecting with Frederic Payet and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frederic, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My most important factors behind my success is perseverance and challenge myself to always improve my skill.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is depicted as joyful , cheerful with bright colors. I started painting 27 years ago and decided to make a living. It was very difficult because there was so much negative energies around being a staving artist. But I never believed it because I am someone very positive and made sure to stay that way.

Off course the beginning was difficult so I started to improve my skill and decided to do art festivals all over the country which paid off along the was then took me where I am now.

So I learned to be persistent and not to give up during difficult times.

I always paint consciously by bringing loving, joy and healing energies to my work. This is my brand.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am an art lover so my first showing would be to go see art galleries, museums or even art shows. Being French food is my second passion. I am always looking for different exotic and innovation cuisines. So I would take to my favorite restaurant that I had experienced. Also I live in North Carolina so I would take them to the blue ridge mountains and waterfalls.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would say my uncle who was an artist and because when I first started to paint, he always helped me to improve myself and excel in my style.
