We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesica Marican and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesica, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Denver Home Organizing strives to help our community by helping our most important resource: the people who live in it. We teach how to reduce the amount of time and energy spent managing possessions, helping transform homes into personal sanctuaries. When our homes are peaceful places that truly allow us to rest and recharge, we are better family members/friends/employees/volunteers and we are better equipped to contribute to our communities in meaningful ways.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Denver Home Organizing creates personalized organizational systems for streamlined efficiency in everyday life, so that our clients are able to relax and have fun in a home that they love. We organize all types of spaces, and specialize in homes with young families. I was able to grow this business organically by taking on each level of growth as it came rather than stretching myself too thin at the beginning. I’ve learned that as a small business-owner, I am my own most valuable resource so I need to make sure to take care of myself in order to be the best I can for my clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When friends visit Denver, I love to take them to Red Rocks, Mt. Evans, Union Station, Meow Wolf, and to a yoga class at Samadhi Yoga in Uptown. If they are visiting in the summer, I always make sure to spend Sunday afternoon at City Park Jazz. The Lowry Beer Garden is an amazing place to hang out and enjoy some food and drinks, and Rocket Ice Cream right next to it is perfect for dessert. Create Cooking School in Stanley Marketplace is another great spot to chill and enjoy some amazing drinks. I’d also be sure to take them to Cherry Cricket, D Bar, Lucille’s, and Snooze.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My entrepreneurial friends have helped me immensely as I’ve grown my business. They have been amazing and encouraging sounding boards, helping me brainstorm and problem solve through each stage of my business growth.
