We had the good fortune of connecting with Joanna Kosmider and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joanna, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Photography! I have the chance to follow my love and capture beauty of life all around.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was born and raised in Cracow, Poland. I grew up in a family with two older brothers. I come from an artist family of painters, photographers, wood carvers and costume designers . 10 years ago I absolutely knew I loved taking photos but with life and marriage, I was spread to thin to worry about and develop my passion. Now that both kids are in school, I have the chance to follow my love for photography.

It’s a true gift to find connections between people, family and nature through a lens every single day. Years of gathering experience and training can ensure your photos are amazing and your vision comes to life. With photos, light is everything , and it’s important your photos look the best, with a crystal clear image that can be enlarged for all to admire.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely have to take a kid-friendly hike, visit Red Rocks Amphitheater, and hang out in Olde Town Arvada. My favorite restaurants in Arvada are Smokin’ Fins and the Flying Pig Burger Co. A trip to Colorado wouldn’t be complete without a day at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park in Denver.

Another great activity is a trip to the mountains. After a short drive to Breckenridge, take gondola up to Peak 7 and hike the Peaks Trail towards Frisco. After working up an appetite, make our way back to downtown Breck and have a late lunch of the best BBQ in town at Kenosha Breck.

You wont be bored in Colorado; our community has so much to offer!! This is truly the best place to live and raise a family.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to my husband TJ for believing in me and supporting my passion. Huge thanks to my brother Kris, my best friend and my mentor.
