We had the good fortune of connecting with Jourdan Block and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jourdan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to have the freedom and flexibility to help my clients in more than one area. I wanted to be able to come to them, do house visits, and make the jewelry buying process more convenient. I also wanted to offer more than one service, from buying beautiful items, to designing custom pieces, selling unique jewelry, and being able to appraise it as well.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career is amazing! I get to join in the celebration of the most monumental moments in people lives. I witness the joy of newly engaged couples, the thrill of picking out wedding bands, the achievements that deserve recognition throughout peoples lives. I have dedicated over dozen years learning the industry so that I can customize it for my clients and myself. I have worked in large cities, New York and Los Angeles, and I have come back to settle in Denver and create my own brand. I pride myself on customer service, integrity, and honesty. There is nothing that makes me happier than a satisfied client!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would start by brining them to cherry creek for a fun work out either at Rise, Orange Theory, Club Pilates, or do a Yoga class. Then maybe a quick bite at the Corner Beet for a smoothie. Return to the Halcyon Hotel to rinse off, and off to dinner at Bibloquet or Quality Italian. We would then go up to the mountains to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and see the changing of the leaves.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Steve Rosdal- for mentoring me and teaching me this incredible business.
