Meet Kailee Nauman | Owner of Eclectic Designs .CO | Brand & Web Design Studio

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kailee Nauman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kailee, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Being creative has always been at the forefront of my life. My parents owned a screen printing company growing up and most of my earliest memories involve being creative in numerous forms. My dad was an artist himself and taught me everything he knew from seeing the world in a different light to how to draw with a graphite pencil. As I went through school, art classes were the peak of my interest. Originally I went to college for Architectural Engineering, but after one semester and a random health crisis I had to go through for over a year, I decided I was going back to school for Graphic & Web Design. I graduated with my Bachelors in 2018, dove head first into the corporate world as a designer and… well… HATED it. I was still building my freelance while working full time so when I was let go for COVID, my transition into running my business full time was a bit easier than I had anticipated. I cant see my life without creativity in it, this career in a sense is what I’m meant to be doing.

Eclectic Designs .CO is a brand and web design studio based out of Denver, Colorado, working with passionate entrepreneurs, creatives and lifestyle enthusiasts to highlight their unique qualities. Ensuring they shine bright in their industry with a brand they love and feel confident showing up wholeheartedly for. We explore how to connect with your brand on a deeper level, create visuals that stand out and reflect who you are, develop a strong social media plan and focus on life/work balance that align with your goals.

My bigger vision is to build a community of like minded, passionate individuals who can support and grow with each other.

Business wise I have done a lot of personal growth work, research and investing in others that have helped me achieve my goals. Things take practice, work and patience to overcome challenges. We grow with our lessons and it’s all about letting the emotions come and go, don’t be afraid to reach out and remember to be proud of everything you’ve accomplished up to any point. More than anything, my brand story comes down to that I truly care. It’s not just about the business of what we do together, it’s about the relationship. How we can make sure your brand feels good to you AND setting you up for continuous growth.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So I was born and raised in the suburbs of Denver and I still just LOVE it here. Its a mix of the city and mountains that you can’t get enough of. I really enjoy coffee shops, art museums and hiking. Some of my favorites: ☆ Molecule Effect: Coffee Shop ☆ City O’ City: Vegetarian Restaurant & Coffee Bar ☆ Avanti Food and Beverage ☆ Denver Art Museum ☆ Modern Art Museum ☆ Sante Fe Art Walk ☆ Rhino Art District ☆ Wonder Wonder (Art museum in Boulder) ☆ Chautauqua Park (Boulder): Hiking Denver and its suburbs has so much to offer. There are a lot of hidden gems too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Numerous people have inspired me ranging from my closest friends and family to influencers of the world. However, I don’t think I would be where I am today without the amazing teachers and professors I’ve had. They taught me so much beyond just the books, they taught me about life balance and structure. I’m forever grateful for all of them.
