We had the good fortune of connecting with Kell Hueter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kell, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I attribute my success to perseverance and family support. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in second grade and school has always been a challenge. I have learned that with hard work you can overcome obstacles.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m currently a graphic design student at front range community college. I strive for my art to different and stand out. I’m proud of myself to be a high school student taking classes at the community college. I most exited for my future in graphic design.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Most all my friends share a passion for mountain biking and goofing around. I would take them to the local dirt jumps or up to the foothills to bike. Then we would most likely do something a little childish like go bowling or play mini golf. Being a child a heart in my opinion is the only way to stay young.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my dad. He is a successful architect and is also dyslexic. He has inspired my passion for design/creativity and commitment to succeed despite the challenges I face in everyday life.
