Hi Keya, what’s your definition for success?
Success to me is setting a goal and over coming all the obstacles to make sure you meet that goal. I prayed and planned for this. I beat all the odds set against me to make it where I am today. Everything that could’ve went wrong did, and I’m still here, I’m still standing and my business is thriving. That’s success to me.

What should our readers know about your business?
Beauty in a Bottle is a house hold brand. We offer skin and hair care products to men, women and children. Our products are naturally made with some of the earths most purest oils and butters. Every product we make is carefully researched and studied to provide our customers with the best skin and hair care experience. I’m mostly proud of the way our customers support us. Through our products we’ve built bonds with people around the world not just here in Colorado. That’s one thing I’m most proud of. I got here by grinding for it, never giving up on the vision I have for my business and where I’m trying to take it. It hasn’t been easy but my determination and belief in what I’m doing keeps me going. I’ve learned patience through this process. When I first started I expected immediate results but I’ve learned there is always room for growth. I’m in the second year of my business and the growth from day one is evident, I’m learning as I go and getting better at what I’m doing with time. I want the world to know that I put my all in my business, I love what I do. I stay up for hours researching, planning and preparing some of the best products for my customers. Not just to gain money but to provide healing and a sense of feel good to the community. That’s what the glow up is about… feeling good.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The culture of Colorado is unique. Nothing beats the Mountain View’s. I’m a nature kind of girl. Hiking or just chilling at look out mountain is the perfect day for me. I like peaceful places where I can feel grounded and connected to the earth. Deep conversations and some good soul food from Welton St cafe is top tier in my books. Call it corny but my car is my favorite place to be, good music, great laughs and the perfect scenery is all I need to show any one a good time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My encouragement comes from my kids. Because of them I push my self harder and remain consistent with what I’m doing. It’s important for me to show them that anything you set your mind to you can achieve. Regardless of what anyone else says or thinks. They give me strength and resilience. I’m planting the seeds for their future, this business is a stepping stone for them to have access to the life and financial freedom they deserve.
