We had the good fortune of connecting with David R Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, how has your background shaped the person you are today?

I grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Harleysville. It was a town where the only fast food was a Dairy Queen and the Hardware Store morphed into catchall of things from gardening to appliances. There was a local volunteer Fire Department and a number of other small businesses.

I was blessed to have had a number of different mentors in my life that saw something in me and kept pushing me to keep moving forward to be the best version of myself. A good friend of mine called them Angel Runner Guides. These people would spent time with me and share their life experiences, hoping to influence me in a positive way, which they did,

I would not be the person I am today without these wonderful people being in my life!!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I bring nearly forty years of knowledge, leadership, and home financing expertise to my role as Senior Loan Officer to Highlands Residential Mortgage. My experience in the mortgage industry spans decades; from loan origination to branch management and sales management, all the way to executive roles in regional and national loan production. I was recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Mortgage Executives in America by Mortgage Executive Magazine in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

After 18 years in management, I was excited to return to personal production because of my love for people and helping them achieve their dream of home ownership. My position allows me to use my leadership and relationship-building skills to help customers get the homes they want, and to make a positive difference in their lives.

In 2022, I was Awarded the Affiliate of the Year from SMDRA / the South Metro Denver REALTORS Association and was also Appointed to their Board of Directors as one of their Director Representatives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in Denver, Colorado, there are so many different things one can do here. From Hiking, Biking, Boating, Skiing and visiting many of the small mountain towns. Each small town has a unique history and their own set of fun activities when visiting there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
