We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiara Hicks and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kiara, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Along with myself being an educator to the youth, I became a full time mom in 2019. It has been a challenge at first with learning how to balance my work life and my home life along with my photography. With family support I take everything one day at a time. Photography has been an outlet for me to express anything that I feel to come to life.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Euvibe Photography is all about bringing good vibess. I’m all for body positivity and happiness. Not many people are comfortable about themselves and afraid to show the world their potential. As an artist, I love to let individuals express themselves to their best. Coming from a landscape photographer and moving on from portraits, it was a challenge learning more about the industry and meeting others; but as time progresses and learning each session, it made become a better and more confident photographer.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were to visit the area, and since I am growing into a beer fan, definitely would check out local breweries such as Epic Brewing and Avery Brewery in Boulder, CO. Another place I would enjoy is in the mountains, for some quiet time and relaxation such as Dillon, CO and Breckenridge.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to show love to my family for the support.
