We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristi Cavinder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristi, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
My background is what brought me to my business! Growing up I dealt with SO many health issues. Doctors always told me my labs looked normal and I should just try to cut out foods that made me feel sick. I never had an answers to my bloat, acid reflux, IBS, terrible stomach pains. These pains would lead me to not being able to participate in a lot of social settings. It gave me tons of anxiety! I knew there had to be a way to fix these issues holistically.

This is where I found the NTA (Nutritional Therapy Association) program and went back to school! I hit the ground running and have been healing my own healthy holistically through food, lifestyle, and supplements. I knew this was my calling because I am SO passionate about healthcare, nutrition, and helping people heal their symptoms through nutritional therapy!

Now I have my own buisness to help as many people as I possibly can. People who were like me, desperate for answers and just wanted to feel like themselves again!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It has not been an easy ride! It’s like a roller coaster of emotions and feelings when starting a business. You have self doubt but then once you see reviews from your clients, it changes EVERYTHING! Seeing how much my nutritional work has impacted my clients is the biggest reward I could ask for! You just have to grind it out everyday, even when your loosing motivation because those wins are bigger than any struggle!

My goal is I want to educate as many people about nutrition and how you can heal ANY annoying symptoms in your body through nutrition, lifestyle changes, and if needed – supplements. It just takes time, patience and effort to make these changes but that is why I am here!!! To be the best support system and to also help you target those root causes!

Ultimately this is not a restrictive diet by ANY means! I want you to live a healthy balanced happy life without those symptoms!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ooooh where to start!

We would start off with a morning workout at Duality (I work part time there) and its just the best sweat in Denver!! Then we would hit up Nuture cafe for a morning brunch! We would hit Larimar square and hit up some boutiques like the garage sale shop. Then we would hit up dinner at Barcelona wine bar – my fav restaurant for tapas!!!

Next day we would have to go to boulder for a morning hike. Hit up Pearl St for shopping. We would have to go to Avery brewery for beers and lunch! Then we would head back to Denver and eat at Root down!!

Other fav things would be to go to the Selfie Museum, Meow wolf, Rockies game, Red rocks concert!

I am always down for anything and everything! I love Denver
