We had the good fortune of connecting with kyle lutze and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi kyle, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor of our brand has to be all of the different revenue streams we have. We operate a small plant store but we offer several different services. Not only do we sell plants but we offer rentals of the same plants expanding our proffits. We also offer installations for businesses, maintenance of those same plants, we teach classes large and small, and plant rentals for events and wedding. Utilising all of this helps us maintain steady cash flow during slower times of sales.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Denver Terrarium Classes / The Plant Gallery is more than just an artistic venture; it’s a journey into the vibrant and intricate world of miniature ecosystems. What sets us apart is our commitment to providing immersive experiences that blend creativity, nature, and education. We take pride in fostering a sense of community among plant enthusiasts and beginners alike, offering hands-on classes where individuals can craft their own terrariums under expert guidance. Our journey to where we are today has been filled with passion for the beauty of nature and a dedication to sharing that passion. The path hasn’t always been easy, but overcoming challenges has been an integral part of our growth. The lessons learned along the way emphasize the importance of resilience, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for the therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature. Denver Terrarium Classes is more than a brand; it’s an invitation to explore, create, and cultivate a love for the green wonders of the world.

Washington Park: Not just a beautiful park for outdoor activities, but also home to a variety of trees, flowers, and well-maintained gardens. A great place for a leisurely plant walk.

Saint Mary’s Glacier: A very nice easy hike for people traveling from out of town. Once you reach the summit you are greeted with a massive glacier with breathtaking views and windswept Bristlecone Pines that are hundreds of years old.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would shoutout my Boss, Jacob Biel. With his encouragement and support I have learned so much and adapted to this world of events and public entertainment. His constant words of affirmation and pressure to leave my comfort zone has been crucial to my development as a person and a professional. This position of a teacher was a very new experience for me as have always self-identified as an “introvert” so stepping into this role as a teacher has a huge change for me. After the past year with The Plant Gallery / Denver Terrarium Classes the leadership and friendship he has offered has helped me to change in so many ways.
