We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsey Benton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lindsey, how does your business help the community or world?
When I started my career in real estate, I knew I wanted to make giving back a priority. Real estate is my vehicle to not only help people make their real estate goals a reality, but also leave my corner of the world a little better than I found it. I immediately joined the Rotary Club of Five Points and started serving Five Points and the greater NE Denver community. With that I learned more about non profits I align with and have the opportunity to volunteer in the community. We have since added the Live.Laugh.Give. initiative to Live.Laugh.Denver. Real Estate Group. With the Live.Laugh.Give. Initiative, we are focused on donating (at least) $100 per week to non profit organizations and highlight them in our social media and emails for the month, in hopes that a small financial contribution to the non profit plus additional exposure for them to our 5,000+ person sphere will help the non profits continue to thrive and serve our community. We are also doing volunteer days as a team, which has proven to be a really fun team building option. We also encourage all team members and Realtors to focus on ways they can help their hyperlocal communities and be involved. At Live.Laugh.Denver. we believe as Realtors it is our job to not only serve our clients but also our community.

What should our readers know about your business?
Locally owned and operated, Live.Laugh.Denver. Real Estate Group offers an elevated client experience by empowering our agents to provide the most professional and personalized experience in the industry. We look forward to helping clients make their real estate goals a reality, while minimizing their stress, maximizing their investment… and laughing a little along the way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Non pandemic summer visit: – Saturday – afternoon walk to the zoo, look at the lion cubs and sip some Infinite Monkey Theorem wine. – Sunday – walk over to City Park Jazz… which food truck would we pick? – Head up to Estes Park for a lake day hike. – Water world. Always water world. – Happy hour at Gold Point for some craft cocktails and Good Zuur Cheese. – DCPA for a show, any show will do! – Union Station for a drink – Art museums for the day! – Friday night jazz in Five Points or the Rino Art walk. Denver is the best!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband, Freddy Bigney, who encourages me to make my crazy and big goals a reality, supporting me along the way. My 3 year old son, Benton Bigney, who motivates me to work smarter not harder so I get more time to laugh with him.
