We had the good fortune of connecting with Linsy Beck and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Linsy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking has been the driving force behind the most transformative moments in my life. It’s not an exaggeration to say that taking risks has completely changed the trajectory of my journey, both personally and professionally.

It all started when I took the initial risk of moving from Florida to Colorado solo. I left my childhood, family, and friends behind to start a new life here. I will say as fun as picking up and starting new sounds, it was very lonely and terrifying at first.

Over time the risk became more of a reward and my life blossomed in Colorado. I worked for a corporation for about 3 years before the pandemic hit. I made a life changing decision during that time. I quit my corporate job to pursue my dream of becoming my own boss.

It wasn’t easy, and I constantly have moments of doubt, but taking that risk has been incredibly rewarding. I’m very excited for this journey and grateful for every opportunity to bring innerbeauty to my clients through my passion of hairstyling.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
From a young age, I’ve felt a deep sense of empathy and connection with the world around me. I vividly remember around 3 years old, watching Hercules scale that mountain and being moved to tears, wanting to be his friend and alleviate his loneliness. Little did I know then that this innate compassion and creativity would shape my path in life.

As I grew older, my desire to create art that gives back and nurtures the mind and soul only intensified. It took six years and a degree in psychology, but I finally found my true calling.

For me, hair is not just hair; it’s a canvas awaiting the strokes of artistic expression. I believe that art is subjective, and every stylist brings their unique touch, making the craft a deeply personal journey.

With a background in psychology and a creative eye, my approach to hairstyling sets me apart. I value genuine connections with people and seeing the beauty within them. It’s a blend of psychological knowledge and creative expression that allows me to offer innovative “hairapy” sessions, creating a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and undergo transformative hair experiences.

Color is where I find my true passion, and I relish the ability to experiment with hues and techniques. Though challenging, staying true to myself and overcoming skepticism has been immensely rewarding. My goal is to inspire others to embrace their authenticity and pursue their desires wholeheartedly.

As a brand, I aspire to be known as a beacon of authenticity, creativity, and compassion. My sanctuary offers a safe and engaging space for individuals to explore their emotions, discover their inner beauty, and foster genuine connections.

Breaking traditional barriers and embracing the power of creativity, my brand encourages others to find their true selves and lead fulfilling lives. I am committed to being an advocate for mental health, fostering open conversations and building trust.

Ultimately, my mission is to leave a lasting and positive impact on the lives of those I touch, empowering them to embrace their uniqueness and unlock their full potential. My brand stands for authenticity, compassion, and transformative experiences that lead to personal growth and lasting change. Step into my world, where artistry and wellness merge, and let your inner beauty shine.
