We had the good fortune of connecting with Logan Lakos & Ty Sondag and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Logan Lakos & Ty Sondag, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Ty and I both share a deep love for travel and new experiences, and we come from strong events backgrounds. We were inspired by a simple but powerful idea: to bring people from all walks of life together to celebrate, experience new places and cultures, and meet new people in a safe, community-oriented way. That’s the heart of Denver Pub Crawl, an event series that combines the social energy and cultural discovery of nightlife experiences you see around the world, but which didn’t really exist in the U.S. in that authentic form.

We saw a real opportunity to create experiences that not only connect people but also impact and inspire them. We want to help attendees step outside their routines, open their minds, and build meaningful connections.

Building on the creativity and energy behind Denver Pub Crawl, we asked ourselves how we could bring that same spirit to corporate events. Out Of Office Events was born from that vision. We craft corporate outings that are fun, genuine, inclusive, and designed to inspire teams to connect on a deeper level. Our goal is to break free from predictable, traditional formats.

For us, it’s about more than just events. It’s about creating moments that spark inspiration, foster community, and leave a lasting positive impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
Out Of Office Events grew out of a recognition that most corporate events and gatherings tend to be boring, stale, and stuck in outdated formats. There’s often a lack of creativity and genuine engagement, which is exactly where we shine.

Our journey actually started with Denver Pub Crawl, a community-driven series focused on bringing people from all walks of life together to experience new places, cultures, and connections in a safe, inclusive environment. Denver Pub Crawl embodies the spirit of celebration and exploration with a vibrant social energy you see in nightlife scenes worldwide but rarely authentically captured in the U.S.

We took the creativity and energy behind those pub crawls and applied it to the corporate world through Out Of Office Events. We design unique, interactive, and high-energy experiences that break the mold of traditional team-building. Over nearly six years, we’ve produced more than 1,000 events with over 10,000 attendees, earning hundreds of five-star reviews and testimonials along the way.

It hasn’t always been easy. Building trust and proving the value of creative, non-traditional events in a market accustomed to predictable formats was challenging. But by focusing on quality, listening to client feedback, and staying adaptable, we grew steadily and built a strong reputation.

What we’ve learned is that people want authentic connection and memorable experiences—not just generic activities. Our events are designed to inspire, engage, and foster community in ways that stick long after the event ends.

Ultimately, we want the world to know that our brand is about redefining what corporate events can be: vibrant, meaningful, and full of life — just like the community we started with through Denver Pub Crawl. And we’re only getting started!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you want to show someone the best of Denver, start by exploring LoDo (Lower Downtown), home to the iconic Union Station—a vibrant hub full of energy, beautiful architecture, and great bars to set the tone for the city. Just steps away is McGregor Square, a lively outdoor space packed with food stalls, bars, and entertainment.

In LoDo, enjoy drinks at Con Safos rooftop, which overlooks Coors Field, and savor whiskey at Seven Grand. Don’t miss the rooftop vibes at Tap 14 for great views and lively cocktails. Wander Larimer Square and pop into Larimer Beer Hall for local brews.

The artsy, eclectic RiNo district offers creative cocktails at spots like Lustre Pearl, Mockingbird, and American Bonded, along with cozy hangouts like Finn’s Manor and Beacon.

Downtown’s 16th Street Mall is a must-visit, featuring standout spots like Crawford & Oxford Hotel for cocktails and Harry’s at the Magnolia Hotel for an upscale vibe. For live music and a lively crowd, check out West Saloon or Rock Bottom.

For a peaceful break, don’t miss the Denver Botanic Gardens, a beautiful oasis showcasing a variety of plants and art installations, perfect for a relaxing stroll.

Neighborhood bars like Ginn Mill and Hayter’s bring friendly, local energy that’s perfect for unwinding.

For food, hit Milk Market for a bustling variety of culinary delights and enjoy the contemporary Southwest flavors at Kachina.

This blend of historic landmarks, vibrant neighborhoods, creative cocktails, and lively community spots perfectly captures the spirit of Denver and guarantees a memorable experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to extend a huge thank you to our friends, family, mentors, community partners, venue partners, and everyone in the city of Denver and our home states of Texas and Mississippi who have supported us since the very beginning. Your guidance, encouragement, and belief in our vision have been the backbone of our journey.

Whether it’s sharing wisdom, opening doors, or simply cheering us on during the challenging moments, each of you has played an essential role in helping us grow both personally and professionally. We’re deeply grateful for the incredible community that has lifted us up and made our vision a reality.

This shoutout goes to all of you — thank you for being an indispensable part of our story. Thank you!
