Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My full time job is making maps as a contractor for a major utility company. Before Coloradoughlady, I held second jobs around town to stay connected to my community. Coloradoughlady is starting out as my current second job but can see its potential to grow greater than current opportunities. After making sourdough for a few years and sharing it with loved ones and my neighbors, I felt as though I had finally figured out the recipe I wanted to represent me and my mission. To bring sourdough making into people’s lives as a way of relaxation and meditation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in central Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. With my home/bakery on the banks of the Arkansas River there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Any visitor to the area can enjoy a raft trip, followed by lunch in town and ending the day at one of the numerous hot spring in my area. But my favorite thing to do when I’m not making Sourdough is fishing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
More than anyone, I get inspiration from my kids. Making sourdough bread can be exhausting but has become a an integral of my family’s life. If I take too long a break, both kids are asking “when you gonna make bread again?” “Store bought bread again mom?!?” Best compliment I could ask for.
