We had the good fortune of connecting with Maranda Rights and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Maranda, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
I would say that the Cannabis Industry isn’t all about entertainment. It is too easy to get caught up in the hype, when we are still not “legal” until people are not facing charges children taken from their homes and peoples lives at stake. Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Maranda Rights is an LLC within the entertainment industry. I think what sets me apart from others is my passion, and ability to connect with people. One thing that always excites me is the ability to provide people with a sense of importance, value and reassurance that they were heard. I can 100% say that I would not be where I am today if I had listened to the people around me. It was most definitely not easy, in fact it was the hardest scariest time, but I knew in my heart I had to. It is a scary thing to go with your gut, and I have learned that fear is usually a sign that u must do so. If there is anything that can be taken from my story, It would be that not everyone is motivated by money or fame, that sometimes people do the things do, because no one else would.Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Coming to Colorado would be a doozy, between driving to the mountains hiking and the amazing view above the city, we would eat at hometown faves like Cheba Hut or Rasta Pasta. Nightlife is always fun drinks at a bar and concerts would be on the list might even catch a movie or hit the arcadeThe Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout Someone near to my heart, my great friend and “manager” Mr Christopher Taylor. From helping to point me in the right direction wether it be networking with people to narrowing down options and paths within my career, to supporting every idea, event, show, move I have made he has been an excellent mentor and friend and I am very blessed to have him and the LRE Gang on my side.
