We had the good fortune of connecting with McKenzie Buzard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi McKenzie, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
The definition of success has changed for me over the years. I used to think of it in terms of status, prestige, and wealth. Now, after becoming a therapist, I see success as contribution. I judge my level of success based on how many people I have helped and how much of an impact I have made upon the individuals that I see. When you move beyond doing things purely for yourself and you are able to truly help people, you find that contribution is truly the most rewarding thing.

What should our readers know about your business?
Imagine with me now, if you can, a world in which everyone knew how to heal from their traumas. What would our world look like, if we all took responsibility for our own mental health, triggers, and harmful programming.

Would there be less violence? Less hate? Less heatbreak?

My name is McKenzie and I am a licensed Hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner .This reality might seem like a lofty goal, but I truly believe we can change our world, one person at a time. I want every person to know that healing is possible. That they don’t have to struggle through anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, addictions, or self-hatred. That the root of all of these issues can be found and healed through hypnosis and neural reprogramming.

The human mind is the most amazing, powerful thing on this earth. It has the power to bring you your greatest joys and your most crippling sorrows. And hypnotherpay allows you to rerogram that machine. This type of therapy has changed my life completely, as well as many others. It is my passion and my life’s goal to help as many people heal as I can, and in turn, begin to heal the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend were in town for a long weekend, I would have to start with brunch at Syrup, followed by a day strolling through the Botanic Gardens and Cheeseman Park. That would be followed by dinner at Fruition and perhaps an after-dinner drink at Cooper Lounge at Union Station.

The second day, I would take them to Rino, where we would stroll around looking at the street art and popping in to all the local shops and breweries. That would be followed up with dinner and drinks at the Ramble hotel.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mentor and teacher, Marisa Peer, has been instrumental in my success as a hypnotherapist. She has taught me so much, not just about being a therapist, but about myself and life in general. She absolutley deserves recognition in my story.
