We had the good fortune of connecting with Meghan Read and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meghan, what do you want your legacy to be?
My mission is to help purpose driven people and organizations to live and contribute soulfully in order to elevate our collective consciousness. Achieving higher states of consciousness requires more than living mindfully, it’s about living soulfully. I believe we are spiritual beings living a human experience. When we learn to integrate our heart, mind, body, and spirit, we can live soulfully. I want to look back on my life and be able to say my life was filled with love, joy, and inspiration. That I illuminated the world around me with joy, inspired others to feel and do something magical, helped people discover the best parts of themselves, and ultimately played a role in raising our collective consciousness. I hope my legacy is that I brought more light into the world.

What should our readers know about your business?
So why did I create Soulfully? People, teams, and organizations are being challenged to innovate and assimilate new energies and ideas at a more rapid pace than ever before. Those who are struggling to adapt to constant and massive change are feeling stuck, stressed, and burned out. Now more than ever, people are starving for more humanity, healing, and spirituality, and joy in the workplace – and in life. There’s a deep need to challenge the status quo, enable people to step into their full potential, and evolve the way we live and contribute.

I have a passion for the corporate world. I love business and I love my career. AND I love spirituality and holistic healing. Traditionally, these are two separate things. There is so much separation in the world. Eastern versus Western philosophies. Science versus Spirituality. Work versus Life. Traditional Medicine versus Alternative Medicine. I’m creating space for BOTH. I believe we can appreciate all of these things. And after working with people and businesses all over the world, I’ve found there are a lot of people like me. And they’re looking for ways (and community) to bring their spiritual gifts and curiosities to the world – even the corporate world. That’s what Soulfully is all about. It’s for the high performance, purpose driven people and companies, who also care to elevate our consciousness and experience more love and joy in all areas of life.

Has it been easy? Sometimes. And sometimes it’s been painful. But it has all helped me become who I am today and what I choose to invest my energy in. The hardest part was learning to be my authentic self. To shine my light as brightly as possible. And to share my story, experience, and learnings with love and courage.

I’ve spent a lifetime learning from the best of the best when it comes to mind and energy management. I’ve learned you can change your mind. I’ve learned you can change your energy. And now I know you can change your life. Soulfully is here to guide you through it.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I probably don’t have enough characters allotted to express my sincere gratitude to all of the people, programs, organizations, and experiences that led me to where I am today.

Let’s begin at home. My mother is probably the single-most influential person when it comes to my success. She instilled core belief systems that support my well-being and success to this day. Simple yet profound things like, “no matter what, my needs are always met.” She pushed me to be the best version of myself, believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself, and gave me opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others who changed my life. She taught me the values of integrity, honesty, and kindness. My older sister taught me how to create (and manifest) a big vision. My husband is my rock. He supports me in everything I do, showers me with love, lifts my spirit, and gives me the space to truly be my authentic self. My son fills my life with joy and inspires me to stay curious.

I’ve worked with coaches my entire life, from my days as a high-performance athlete, to all things business, and becoming a new mom. Every coach I’ve ever worked with taught me a valuable lesson, mostly about myself.

There are two books that changed my life. “You Can Heal Your Life,” by Louise Hay. Thanks to my dear friend, Jessica who recommended it to me when I was at an all-time low, in search for clarity. And “Money Magnetism,” by J. Donald Walters. A small, yet profound book that shifted how I think about money – forever.

And of course, a special thanks to all my friends, mentors, teachers, and managers, who have all played a big role in who I am today and the gifts I bring to the world. You know who you are.
