Meet Mia Pace | Advanced Esthetician & Owner of Francesca Beauty Co.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mia Pace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew early on that I wanted to create something of my own — a space where I could offer personalized care, build genuine relationships, and grow both creatively and professionally. After getting licensed and earning my certifications, I realized I had a clear vision for the kind of experience I wanted to provide and I didn’t want to wait years to bring it to life. Starting my own business gave me the freedom to design every detail, from the services I offer to the atmosphere my clients walk into. It was definitely a leap, but I believed in my ability to work hard, stay committed, and build something meaningful from the ground up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
At Francesca Beauty Co., I specialize in customized skincare and waxing services tailored to each client’s unique needs. What sets me apart is the level of care, intention, and education I bring to every appointment. I want my clients to feel beautiful, confident, and supported — not just during their service, but long after.
Francesca Beauty Co. was created with a clear purpose: to be a place where women feel seen, supported, and truly cared for in their own skin. My focus has always been on delivering personalized treatments in a space that feels calm, welcoming, and intentional. From the services I offer to the relationships I build, everything reflects my passion for helping others feel their best. Watching that confidence grow in my clients is the most rewarding part of what I do.
Part of what drives me is my own story. I was raised by a single mom who carried the full weight of raising a child on her own. We didn’t have much, but I always had a front-row seat to what strength, perseverance, and love really looked like. I saw the toll that constant sacrifice can take—not just emotionally, but physically—and how easily women can lose themselves while trying to hold everything together.
But I also watched her rise. Over time, she turned that struggle into strength, becoming a successful real estate broker through sheer grit, vision, and heart. The irony — and the beauty — is that now I get to care for the woman who spent so many years taking care of me. I have the tools and knowledge to help her restore and protect the beauty that was always there, even when life tried to wear it down. That full-circle moment reminds me every day why I do what I do — and who I’m doing it for.
My biggest lesson? You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Just start, stay consistent, and keep growing along the way.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s that Francesca Beauty Co. was built with heart. I’m here to help people feel seen, cared for, and beautiful in their own skin—and that will always be at the center of everything I do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit for a week, I’d plan a mix of best views, food, and local experiences — balancing self-care, adventure, and a little bit of fun.
Day 1: Dinner & a Show Dinner at Vaquero’s in Northgate. Afterward, we’d head to the Sunset Amphitheater for some live music.
Day 2: Self-Care & Local Sweets We’d start with facials at Francesca Beauty Co., followed by a deep massage at Natural Therapeutics. In the afternoon, we’d swing by Fruitlandia for a vanilla respado and stroll through downtown or a local plant shop. For dinner, we’d probably grab some tacos at Dos Dos.
Day 3: Sunrise Hike + Biscuit Bliss We’d start the day with a sunrise hike at Pulpit Rock. After that, breakfast at Denver Biscuit Co., where the biscuit French toast is my favorite. Later, we’d grab smoothies or bowls from Rush Bowls, then relax for the rest of the afternoon.
Day 4: Mineral Springs & Mountain Calm We’d start with matcha lattes and pastries from Human Bean, and then spend the day in Manitou Springs. We’d explore local shops and taste the different spring waters. That evening, we’d unwind at SunWater Spa, soaking in cedar tubs with a mountain view, followed by yummy fondue at Mona Lisa.
Day 5: Cooking & Colorado Views After sleeping in, we’d head to a cooking class at The French Kitchen, then head out for a scenic drive up Gold Camp Road. We’d stop for a hike at Seven Bridges Trail, then spend the evening relaxing at home with tea and something sweet from Mary’s Mountain Cookies.
Day 6: Brunch & Live Music We’d start slow with brunch at Omelets Etc. in Falcon. The rest of the day would be open for a little shopping, lounging, or exploring the local markets. That night, we’d stay home and get ready for her send-off.
Day 7: Sweet Send-Off We’d end the trip with a quick trip to Starbucks and then spend the last bit of time relaxing before sending her off!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely want to dedicate this shoutout to my family — especially my mom and stepdad. My mom has always led by example. Watching her build her own real estate business showed me what it means to be independent, hardworking, and deeply committed to what you love. She taught me not just how to work — but how to believe in myself, take risks, and create something meaningful. My stepdad has also been such a huge source of encouragement. He’s believed in me from the very beginning and has always made it clear that my goals and dreams mattered. Having that kind of support at home has been everything. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love, guidance, and constant belief in me.
