We had the good fortune of connecting with Mike Crofts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mike, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor that helped start my business, and continued success of providing honest and satisfying service is having someone behind you to back up the plan. For me specifically my wife was the leading cause of believing more in myself.
Coming from an environment when I was very new to a whole new state, not knowing anyone, struggling to find work in the automotive industry during COVID, and dealing with frustration of low balling on wages and random layoffs, it eventually came to a head of my frustration in a “guaranteed check”.
My wife was the first person to push me to start my own business, being a new entrepreneur herself, and seeing how hard she worked to better her own business, as well as helped me start mine showed me how much more I could be doing. And to be honest she’s great competition to keep up with, since she also is a 5 star business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Back in 2014 I’ve become a car lover through vehicle detail work. Since then I’ve worked in multiple different automotive industries like lube/tire technicians jobs, auto parts jobs, auto body jobs and eventually starting my own mobile detailing service.
The curiosity of working on my own vehicles while also being too broke to pay anyone to fix what was wrong, being able to keep clean whatever I was working on, and paint it whatever I want became a bit of an obsession with my own vehicles enough to where I’m now wanting to do what was never intended with them in the first place by either heavily modifying and utilizing new trends to make vehicle whatever I could think of.
It wasn’t until I’ve started my business to really want to go all out in outrageous car projects, while learning along the way of the “what’s and what not’s”
To conclude, someone as ocd with vehicle maintenance like cleaning services are always right up my alley! It’s a bit surprising to some clients who have a professional detailer to show up excited about getting their vehicle cleaned.
That’s where I typically come in!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being a Salt Lake City Utah native, I’m very happy to have moved here to Denver for plenty of reasons. I personally love to go out to eat Mexican food! Still currently waiting on my reservation for Casa Bonita to come through. I’ve had friend go there recently and loved it, so if I had a choice I’d definitely be going there!
I’m also a major fan of Pikes Peak! The International Hill Climb is always cool to watch, and cruising up there yourself was on my bucket list which I was able to do!
Also the local track days around Colorado, I somewhat frequent High Plains Raceway for Emich Track Day’s!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out to the business networking group of 2022 Six degrees connections.
A group of entrepreneurs/ businesses who’ve helped my business grow by being the clients/marketing team anyone could need.
