We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Eledge and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Morgan, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Ever since i was a kid. There is this energy. I feel it. I always have. It moves through me, trying to flow into this reality any way that it can. With so much going on in this world right now. The only thing that feels right is to create.. To express an flow with emotions instead of trying to hide, or numb them, but tap into these parts within myself and bring them out into this world for others to see..to feel. It’s magical. To connect with even one person out there through my work, means so much to me. To resonate with a piece of art. A sound.. An emotion that arises through observing the details… It truly is powerful. on every level. Inspiring in so many ways.. Capturing an emotional expression through color an flow, even if its on an abstract level.. It’s beautiful

To impact another person’s existence here. Even slightly in a way that makes them ponder. or feel In a positive way. Moves me as an artist ~
Art transforms a space. Any space. Almost like emotional architecture. Changing the mood and atmosphere of the entire enviorment. Energetically through a visual, audible, emotional, even spiritual expression.
I feel like I have alot of potential inside worth investing my time an focus on. Any other job or profession I have had in this life has depleted my energy, to the point of me being uninspired, an to tired to create, flow or do anything I truly resonate with. To drained to chase after any of my dreams or express any ideas. It’s not worth my time.
It feels good to create a Good vibration for someone to vibe with.
There is something unique inside of me that wants to shine into the world. The only thing that feels right anymore is to let it shine. Keep tapping into that, which I love to do. Doing these things that fuel me as a person and keep me going. Keep me expanding in every way.. And in that process, inspiring others to do the same.. Can you imagine this world without art? Without color. Without healing, good vibrations? Me either ..
It feels good to add a bit of color to someone’s life <3

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a healer, certified in channeling Reiki energy. I was attuned by my master around 4 years ago. I Practice on myself, and my pup regularly. But offer to anyone that feels called to or curious about a session. I love working with animals. I have witnessed healing in ways I have never seen or felt with traditional medicine. Finding more bennefits here personally than anything else I’ve tried to get help with mentally, emotionally, an even some physical stuff. Healing things the vet said wouldn’t go away with my pup. Healing things within on a deeper, quantum type level of healing. On a cellular, a physical, an emotional, and spiritual level all at the same time. It is hard to believe. Or even understand but remember I am just the channel, this flow comes straight from the universal source. It carries life force energy. It kind of has a mind of its own once its in your body. Gets to work from the inside out touching in areas you may need in the mind, body..the emotions. For me it has found to be undeniable after a session. This healing flow truly helps keep my mind an body balanced in so many ways, while at the same time helping me maintain life more efficiently. Reiki has changed my life. It continues to amaze me with the healing attributes it has. With this and the  knowledge I have learned about energy an nature an how to apply it to my life has really impacted my life in a powerful way.. To be able to share this flow an these teachings with anyone else, motivates me everyday. It has all changed my life in so many positive ways, it doesn’t feel right to keep it to myself. We are all in this together. I love to help others any way that I can.

I like to paint too, I use acrylics, watercolor, an oil pastel all kinda blended together. I like to sneak little accent stones in certain spots on some pieces. Opals. Emeralds. Sapphires, are some of my favorites. I am still working on the technique. I have never seen anything like it before. I love how gem stones add a little pop of energy and refraction. I think there may be somethin to it.

I typically use canvas but have done a few small murals. I like to live paint when I can at different events an such.
I am also a flow artist. I like to spin fire. Poi has been my favorite. I feel I have a little different style than normal. I like the contact with the fire on my body. Getting really close an personal with the flames. But it is not always fire. I like to flow any way that I can. Lights are always a good time to.
I have been learning how to finger drum a little bit. I am still learning, but it is fun to play around with some sounds to when I can get away with it.
~
I am have an entire mineral shop in my possession. I like the rarer earth minerals. I have cut gem stones, an all kinds of fun rocks. Still working on getting them online, but feel free to shoot me a message if you have any interest in seeing my collection.

I worked with a shamen for a few years. Working to understand energy on a deeper level. Working an communicating with nature an using it to heal the mind an body. She passed on alot of great wisdom. Really helping me find myself again. After working with her I see life, an nature so much differently. Learning to really embody it. Becoming aware of so much more of what this life has to offer. I Learned alot about the different parts of myself that makeup who I am. While learning how to find peace inside in almost any situation. l Have gained alot more control over the mind, emotions, and my life as a whole over the years with what she passed on. I Truly I found a sense of empowerment here. I love to pass any of this knowledge off with thoes that care to listen, or anyone who has a desire.
~
I have also been in the cannabis industry for the last few years. Helping the community stay educated an get quality medicine. I have recently gotten more into the cultivation side of things, working with the plants

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I personally love Red Rocks, for a show, even just to go walk around. Such a magical place. The Mission Ballroom, or Cervantes, Meow wolf with their immersive art experience. So cool, they have an interactive dancefloor. All wonderful venues to go catch a show for a good time.

Any of the art galleries. Always so inspiring. I love wondering around looking at all the street art the city has to offer.
Threyda is a cool spot to. The way they are collaborating with artist, blows me away. Taking it to the next level. Throwing art on cloths, shoes,  at home installations, an so much more. It is so incredible.
I believe Clozee is living in Denver now. If you haven’t seen one of her sets. Totally worth checking out. She creates a very unique atmosphere to get down in. She blows me away every time. Her music has been evolving, her live sets just keep getting better.
The food in the city is amazing. So overwhelming compared to what we have in the mountains, Dochi mochi doughnuts..Woh some of the best doughnuts i have ever tried. Not to mention crumble cookie.. Any Mediterranean spot I have had always hits the spot. I came across Flower Child once. They had great tasting vegan food. Looking for a great burrito? My family has always loved the green chili from Burrito Co. Ever since I was a kid I remember popping in there from time to time. If your around Castle Rock, Yolanda’s tacos.. so good, I find myself craving this flavor to frequently an rarely find anything that compares.
I have wanted to check out Tetra, or the marijuana mansion. I also hear they have a lot of great kava bars around the city. For a psychoactive beverage that don’t have alcohol in them. The gem show they do every year. Aways so incredible. You will find some of the best quality minerals from around the planet.
Lookout mountain is such an amazing place. Something about it. Catching the sunrise there, a sunset.. Or just gazing at the lights. The city.. It is so peaceful. So magical. Some of the best memories I have of the city have been right there. Just looking over it all. You feel it. There is so much love about the city. So much opportunity.
I live in Avon, so I don’t get down to the city much, unless it is for an event or something. Around here I spend most of my time, hiking, camping, or snowboarding at Beaver Creek in the winter. Maybe catch a hot spring In Glenwood Springs. I love just finding a nice creek or a waterfall to just vibrate with.
There is a cool spot here in the valley called, The Dojo. An immersive art gallery every room is a different theme. Full of music equipment, an really cool art. A very unique space to come find some inspiration. They will paint a piece, throw it on a hoodie, make shirts, rolling treys, coaster, Prints, all right there. An making it all look so easy doing it. Letting local artists come work together. Throw down on the decks, or just get creative with other creatives. Truly is very inspiring. Find them on Instagram if you ever want to come check em out at, thedojo___ theo and Tam are beautiful people, would love for you to come see what they got going on.
Drinking vessels, Is a glass blower doing some amazing things with cups. Ben and his studio are on another level. He has been letting me paint a small section on one of his walls, along with a lot of other artist who have passed through. Letting different creatives practice their craft in his rad space. If you ever around Minturn. Totally worth checking out, or if you ever need some heady sippers. I Have never seen glass on this level. Very intricate. Straight up quality, everything he is doing. Love how he offers a unique space an opportunity for artist to come create in. Or for anyone to just come look around an see it all. You find alot of inspiration here. You don’t see anything like this very often.
I was at Sonic Bloom this last year and ran into the Bordemfighters. Let me tell you, These guys blew me away. Posted up with an entire professional music studio right in the middle of this music festival ready to go. Anyone could come in and start playing. They recorded the whole thing, made a song out of it. They have anything you could need, Right there. People who would have never had access to any of these things. Now with full access. Hands on. I hear they travel around to different events, an schools just trying to inspire that artist inside. all ages.. It truly is a beautiful thing.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My cousins Ambyr and Nik Wolf. Offered the support and push I needed to truly go after my dreams. When I had nowhere to go. Little to no support. They didn’t want to see me go backwards in any way. offering any support they could when they could. Motivating me not to give up through some of the hardest moments of my life. Truly am grateful for everything these two have done for me. I Wouldn’t of made it this far if it wasn’t for them.

Susie Kincade, This women right here was one of the best mentors I have ever encountered. We worked with nature. Showing me how to use it to heal. How to communicate with her on a deeper more energetic level. How to harness an integrate it all into my being. I wouldn’t of been able to find who I am without her help. She really helped me get a grip on my mind, my emotions. I feel like after working with this woman I regained more control of my life. I move with a completely different outlook, a better mindset.  Looking at nature with a whole new perspective. Really showing me how to reclaim my power. Being up here alone in the mountains. So far away from family. I found a sense of family here.
Mary Gavin, offered healing on a deeper level. Introduced me to Reiki.. After our first session. Everything changed. I Felt clean, balanced, realigned. My body suddenly rejected alcohol. I used to love to drink after work, regularly. Never thought I had a problem with it. I had a drug problem growing up. But after a 3 day coma on life support I gave that life up. Suddenly it felt better to not drink. It felt better for my body than any drug. 3 years or so go by, she had moved out of the valley, but was coming back to do a Reiki attunement. Passing on the ability to channel this healing energy myself. This has changed my life on every level. 5 years without a sip, not to mention the emotional, an mental, spiritual, physical healing I get from this healing flow. I couldn’t imagine ever going back to drugs. With her help I can just turn it on anytime I feel called to. Heal friends an family. plants.. animals. She helped me find a new path in this life.
Laruen Ligon, After I lost everything from fiber exploding out a matress, and contaminating my entire condo. Ceiling to floor.. ruining everything I had. With little to no help, little to no support. Living in the woods out of a tent and my 2 door car with my dog. Everyday was a struggle. I met this women at work. She just wandered in, Looking for something we didn’t have. Just moved to the valley. She looked like she could use a friend. So gave her my number, we got some food that night. Sat by the river an I told her my situation. She offered some help, and support like I have never seen before.. Helped me out of the cold, helped me stay fed, clean. Anything she could do to help me get back on my feet. I don’t know if I would still be around up here if it wasn’t for her, an her support.
Thank you, All of you, for everything that you guys have done for me. It means the world.
