Meet Natalie & Hannah Weber | Sisters & Boutique Owners of PINKS

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie & Hannah Weber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie & Hannah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My sister and I have always wanted to go into business together, whether that was starting our own brand or launching a small business. So when the opportunity arose to purchase PINKS, we jumped on it. We both had previously worked for PINKS so we were already familiar with the store operations and amazing customers. Our love of fashion and interest in entrepreneurship go hand in hand in this new and exciting chapter of our lives.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My sister and I both graduated from CU Boulder with degrees in Public Relations & Business (Natalie) and Film (Hannah). After college we pursued careers in our degrees in Denver, CO and Los Angeles, CA. A few years post-grad, the previous owner of PINKS reached out about the sale of her business and we were more than ecstatic to make a career change to entrepreneurship.
We’ve learned so many lessons — at least something new everyday! We have the most loyal customer base and our number one priority is building relationships and connections with the ladies that shop here. Another thing we are constantly reminded of, is how lucky we are to be in business together as sisters.
Our mission is to create a community that encourages self-expression and confidence through a shared love of fashion.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Start off with a walk around Wash Park and head to South Gaylord St. for a ham & cheese croissant and latte at Devil’s Food Bakery.
Of course, we would then head over to PINKS for some shopping. Later, we can grab ice cream next door at the infamous Bonnie Brae Ice Cream before heading into Cherry Creek for more window shopping. You can get permanent matching friendship bracelets at Love Saro while also perusing their fun vintage pieces.
For happy hour, we love Room For Milly — the atmosphere and craft cocktails are everything. And depending on what we are feeling for dinner, Bamboo Sushi, Linger, and Bar Dough in LOHI are some of our favorite spots for a bite to eat.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to thank our parents — without them, we wouldn’t be in the position we are in today. Ever since we were little our parents always told us it would be amazing if my sister and I went into business together. They would always emphasize that we would be the perfect match for successful business partners. Not to mention, our mom’s amazing sense of fashion luckily passed down to us!
We would also love to shoutout the previous owner, Paula Rebhun, for not only being the best boss each of us has ever had, but for creating an empowering and fun environment at PINKS.
