Today we’re excited to be connecting with Nicole Briggs again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Nicole, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
My name is Nicole Briggs, and I am the founder of Life Empowered NYC and an Assistant Principal of Operations at Ascend Charter School.

We service the community by providing resources, support, and empowerment initiatives that address education, personal development, and community well-being. Through Life Empowered NYC, we strive to uplift individuals by offering mentorship programs, workshops, and outreach efforts that foster growth and opportunity.

As an Assistant Principal of Operations at Ascend Charter School, I oversee all non-instructional functions to ensure the school operates efficiently and effectively. My responsibilities include managing school facilities, transportation, food services, safety protocols, budgeting, compliance, and operational logistics. By maintaining strong organizational leadership, I create a structured and supportive environment that enables educators and students to thrive.

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
I enjoy watching sports, especially basketball and football, as they bring excitement, teamwork, and a sense of community. My passion is helping others, whether through mentorship, leadership, or providing resources that empower individuals to reach their full potential. Making a positive impact in people’s lives is what drives me every day.

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?
