We had the good fortune of connecting with Olivia Mason and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Olivia, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want to leave behind a legacy of serving people and sharing their stories with the world. I believe that every single person has a story to tell and that its our job to share our stories with other people. Building a human connection is something that is at the core of what I do, how I run my business, and how I invest in the communities around me. I believe that human beings crave human connection. People want to be seen. People want to be heard. That’s why I want to be remembered as the person who always had a listening ear, who woke up every day a little more excited to find ways to serve the Kingdom of God, and who no matter what came my way, always had something positive to bring to the table.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Brandout Social started with one cause. Connecting with humans. We firmly believe in humans making a human connection, it’s something we say over and over again as the driving force behind what we do.

At Brandout Social we work with businesses across the country to help them share their stories and reach more of their communities to provide creative marketing, branding, and education because we know every business deserves to share their story with the world. We believe every life is worth living for. And every human is worth connecting with.

Getting here today business ways I don’t think could ever be easy, especially when you start it up in the middle of a pandemic. But our thought process during it all was “If not now, then when?” And that really gave us all the push we needed to begin.

We’ve learned along the way what we are really good at, and what we don’t like to do. That has helped us really narrow in our services and be true to who we are so that we can always serve the businesses we work with in excellence.

We want the world to know that Brandout Social was created to help other businesses reach the people that they need to reach within their communities. We want our doctors, entrepreneurs, creatives, healthcare workers, pastors, gym owners, nutrients, etc, to be known as the experts in the community and take the weight of running their social media management off of their shoulders.

Our goal is to help streamline their processes, give them back more time and energy to do what they love, and to help them reach as much of their community as possible along the way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for the weekend I would definitely take them to the Sleepy Turtle Coffee Co as soon as their foot stepped off the plane. The Sleepy Turtle Coffee Co is a 74′ Volkswagon Bus transformed into a mobile coffee slinging machine. Once we were armed with our coffee we’d head on out to a hike – Ute Valley is one of my favorites as well as Edmondson Trail Head. There’s something about seeing the full range of the mountains at a distance that makes your whole world feel so small.

After hitting some hikes we would absolutely have to get tacos at either Pig Latin or Dos Santos or going to one of the many farmers markets in the area.

Some of my favorite people to check out are:
@blossom baking
@copper fox coffee
@Clean Juice Interquest (locally owned)
@ olivers deli

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The people that deserve a little extra recognition in my story is first and foremost God. I wouldn’t be where I am without the doors He has opened and the love and encouragement He has given me to help reach communities through the power of social media.

Second is my business partners. Taylor and Josh are a driving force in Brandout Social and have been essential for bringing this dream to life.

Third is my family. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs so it shouldn’t be as surprising to me that I am where I am today. I want to thank them for the drive, love, and encouragement they have given along the way and for instilling in me a passion to serve with a passion. They deserve more credit than I can even begin to express.
