Today we’re excited to be connecting with Patrick Shackley again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Patrick , always such a pleasure connecting with you and thank you for sharing your stories, insights and inspiring messages with our community. We’re looking forward to getting the download and what you have been up to since our last interview, but first can you briefly introduce yourself to folks who might have missed the prior conversation.
Hello, My name is Patrick Shackley. I’m the owner/operator of Monarch Tattoo Studio in Denver, CO and have been a professional tattoo artist for 30 years.
Monarch was opened in 2012 with the goal of providing my clients with superior artistry and ethical treatment in a relaxed, professional environment.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since our last interview, I have been working diligently to keep all of my clients well taken care of. And, as always, practicing and working to refine my art and my craft.
I look forward to interacting with new clients and helping them achieve their dream tattoos.
I hope this year brings happiness and abundance for all of us!

We have now arrived at one of our favorite parts of the interview – the lightning round. We’ll ask you a few quick questions to give us all some fun insights about you.

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
I would like to be remembered as, not only a solid artist/tattooer, but someone who truly loved his craft. Someone who when out of his way to make sure his clients and the people around him felt at ease and comfortable in his presence. And that my clients felt heard and involved in the process of creating their tattoos.
In an industry rife with scam artists and people who are less than reliable, I strive to have a business based on honesty and ethical integrity as well as stellar artwork.
