We had the good fortune of connecting with Paula Robbins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paula, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’d been in Corporate America in the Staffing and Recruiting industry for 16 years and loved my career for most of that time. However, a chain of events that were not really of the highest integrity in the last few years, really made me consider my own purpose and path in life. I began to put it to prayer and really seek some direction about my next chapter in life, as I was also approaching 40. I often call this time my “mid-life awakening”.
I’m not sure of the exact timeline, but the synchronicities could not be coincident. I went to see a hypnotherapist for weight loss and in our very first conversation, before ever doing any live sessions, it became very clear in my soul that this was the next career for me. From there it was an amazing snowball effect of surprise money for tuition within weeks of that first consultation, free office space for two years (which I used for both volunteers to learn my craft as well as paying clients as I officially became a for-profit business). One of the most amazing synchronicities was an amazing phone call, that came literally five minutes after I’d hit send on my resignation letter via email, offering me a part-time consulting gig, which was the perfect transition income for my first year as a business owner in a completely different industry.
So, long story short, it was meant to be.
What should our readers know about your business?
This is an entire book…
I’m proud that I’ve experienced some extensive shift and healing from intensive abuse and trauma. I’m eternally grateful that I am able to use this as my credentials to help others do the same.
It hasn’t been and easy journey, but more worthwhile than most easy journey’s are…
Overcoming in my world is about Divine connection, guidance and trust. Much of the pathways through challenge have been Divinely led.
As far as lessons, the most important lesson for me has been that I am a gifted and grateful channel of healing for others. It was difficult to learn and trust, but the more I realize that I am not alone on the path, that there are Divine Guides or even Ascended Masters, that guide me to the right circumstances for success with making an impact, financial stability and living. a life that I deeply trust.
What sets me apart is a really tough question as I try to stay as humble as possible, but I do know that what I’ve achieved is significant in my own path of healing and that paying it forward and being able to participate in the path of healing with others is one of the most fulfilling parts of all that I am.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d enjoy cooking at my home and catching up, We’d drive to Red Rocks and see the amphitheater. We’d go to some of the Hot Springs and probably a few of my favorite restaurants or coffee places…and of course, anything THEY wanted to see or do, I would host.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This could really be a long response, but earnestly, it’s more of a spiritual answer. I feel that the vast majority of what has led me here is not only my own healing work, which is profound and extensive, but I also learned how to be a facilitator of the modalities that have been most impactful in order to pay it forward.
As far as the people that have been mentors, I’d feel better asking you for the reason why you’d like their info as well as asking them for their permission before offering further details about them.
