We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Noall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, I love small business owners.
When you consider the education system, we (as a society) aren’t encouraged to be entrepreneurs. There’s often a very specific path that’s laid out for us.
Small business owners are outliers. They’re creative and passionate. This is why I love working with them. I feel constantly inspired by my clients, and I’m proud to provide accessible marketing services that support the growth of these businesses.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
New and veteran business owners know that they need to do some sort of marketing to get their business more clients. The problem they face is that they reach out to marketing companies, and are quoted some outrageous amount of money for services that aren’t measurable.
I have had this experience myself, as have many of my entrepreneurial peers. It’s the absolute worst, and makes small business owners feel like they “can’t afford” to grow.
With GMB Pirate, we solve this problem. Measurable marketing efforts don’t have to be inaccessible to the average business owner. We offer very affordable solutions with our introductory service, which is local SEO using Google My Business. Each month, I can show my clients exactly how many organic impressions, website visits, phone calls, and direction requests their business had because of what we’re doing.
We’re really filling a void in the marketing space. Whereas many agencies are too costly for business owners, we’re meeting the entrepreneurial community where they are at: with complete understanding of their frustration, and a service that provides real value.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Denver area has so many amazing options.
We’d definitely spend an afternoon checking out the street art in RiNO, and stop at Noble Riot (because their wine selection is absolutely amazing), and Hop Alley to add some spice (literally) to the day. For other things in the city: We’d check out the Modern Museum of art, and spend an afternoon in Cheesman Park.
I also love Olde Town Arvada… It has a lovely atmosphere, and New Image is my new favorite brewery, so we’d do that for sure. The Stockroom is a new speakeasy in Old Town… It’s not a spot anyone should miss!
As far as outdoor activities, I’d take them hiking in Genesse, specifically the Beaver Brook trail. It’s my favorite 5-mile loop, and it’s very close to the city but feels isolated.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Francesca, has always been supportive of my creative and entrepreneurial spirit. It’s rare to have a person in your life who pushes you forward and supports you, and I feel so lucky that the universe brought us together.
