We had the good fortune of connecting with Robert Webster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robert, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was working for Angi as a Project Manager and I enjoyed helping people with their home projects. While there, I also saw opportunities on how the business could improve. When I was laid off, I decided to take the opportunity to start my own business and continue helping home owners with their projects.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
From my previous experience, I’ve heard complaints from customers about contractors missing the little details like cleaning up a mess after the work is done, sealing up edges completely, or even providing a timely callback. Those little details are often overlooked but can change the entire dynamic of any project. As a business owner, I strive to be detailed and responsive so my customers have a great experience and want to use my services again or refer me to their family and friends.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am actually a homebody and like to enjoy time with my family. When family and friends visit, I enjoy spending time catching up, grilling on my deck, relaxing and having a beer or a glass of wine.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have had the honor and privilege to learn from Abe Lee, owner of Century 21 iProperties Hawai’i. He was my long time mentor and taught me how to be professional and most importantly, to put the results for my clients over monetary compensation. That ideology is the driving force of my business.
