We had the good fortune of connecting with Rossana Huerta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rossana, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
“Never give up” …that advice sounds great but I always have that feeling that this sentence is not complete … I think we always have to add the word until …

Think …you can keep trying for ever and ever and we hear a lot of stories with a happy ending because “you never give up”. But for me we need to set a limit to define up to where and when to keep trying. Example: I’ll keep trying this business until I lose XX amount of money. I’ll keep training and competing until it does not affect my body and mental health. These are some examples, obviously.

The truth for me is most people give up because they just focus on success. But success is a sum of everything, not just one dream come true.

What should our readers know about your business?
Medicorp USA was born from two different stories. I had the money to invest and the desire to start something of my own with which I identify myself as a woman. On the other hand, my friend Nash who is a beautician and has a spa in Barcelona, Spain and has a lot of knowledge about skin care and products, she told me about Botox effect products and the benefits of daily use. The same effect can be achieved without injections simply by replacing your daily creams with those that have the same effect and also add a tightening effect to the skin. Daily exercise given to the skin and muscles of the face and neck is the same as going to a gym daily. This means that your skin can maintain elasticity for a longer time and delay or reduce wrinkles and sagging skin. The road was not easy because the product that my friend recommended me to market for its effectiveness and results is produced in Italy -Miooxin – and has never been introduced to the USA until now. I had to start from scratch, consult with FDA lawyers, customs regulations, and the process of importing a new product into a large market like this one was very difficult and tedious. But we did it!

I think the most important lesson I’ve learned so far is that it doesn’t matter how good your idea and intention are. It will always be difficult and we must remind ourselves all the time that it is like having a baby, we have to respect each stage of growth until it can walk on its own and get ahead. We can’t just rush the process.

I would like every person who takes care of themselves and worries about their personal image to know that nowadays it is always possible to find alternatives to improve one’s personal image. Today it is no longer necessary to go to large aesthetic centers or surgeons to improve our appearance. The current market offers all the alternatives so that one can carry it out in a daily routine at home, it is only necessary to be constant.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a resident of Miami, Florida I can say that all of Florida is wonderful and sunny all year long. But definitely my favorite place in the world is the Florida Keys. In the different Keys you can find thousands of restaurants, not only seafood, but also from other countries such as Jamaica, Brazil or Cuba. Each Key has its charm from the Coral Parks in Key Largo to the marvelous beaches of Islamorada or Maraton and of course the historical part with museums and history and the night parties in Key West. To fully enjoy the charm of the Florida Keys, the obligatory appointment is a week or more since you can dive, fish, ride a boat or jetsky at every point you want. And at night enjoy the bars by the sea or go to a party at a discotheque on the Key where you are.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents both passed away within a year. They left me an inheritance that included a sum of money with which, in honor of them, I decided to invest it and strive to multiply what they had left me. It was with that money that I started this business. And of course the support and above all push from my husband who believes in me and my efforts and ability in business. With him we founded several other businesses such as medical clinics and trucking businesses. But this entrepreneurship is mine alone and it is he who mostly reminds me of how capable I am and that if I can do something that gives me satisfaction as a woman entrepreneur. In short, I would not be where I am if it weren’t for my parents and husband.
