We had the good fortune of connecting with ELISHEBA BAGROW and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ELISHEBA, is there something you believe many others might not?
Getting all of your “ducks in a row” before you can start a business. There are so many ways to navigate this world, if we all went with one or two “right” ways, nothing would get done. It has taken a little longer than I’d like to have certain systems in place but if I waited for that, I would have moved no where. Everyone’s style is different and systems have their merit but if you want to make something and try to sell it, just do that. Just ask, walk in stores, don’t be afraid to hear “no” You will find out soon enough if you care enough to keep going.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I currently am a Wedding Stationery Designer who also prints some work on an antique press I own. I also am an officiant/celebrant who marries couples either eloping or having a larger wedding. The designing and printing have been mostly self taught outside of some amazing courses I took at SVC (Seattle School of Visual Arts) in 2015.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My journey has been a very real mix of huge self-reliance and so much help from others. Moving my press, late night calls crying, the support of clients and vendors, anyone listening to my grievances. The last year someone special stepped into the role of employee, organizer, sounding board and friend. Jordan has been crucial to some major organization overhauls, great ideas to how to streamline things, assembling all the tedious bits and anything I could need help with. She works hard and is always a step ahead, looking out for me and the business. I would not have been able to resemble more of my normal self this season if it wasn’t for her. She has brought me food and laughs and I am so grateful. Thank you Jordan!
