We had the good fortune of connecting with Rotem Brayer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rotem, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to own my own business and focus on what I love doing the most: healing people with therapy. In 2017 I had a transformative experience when I did basic EMDR training. Since then I’ve been dedicating any minute to growing as an EMDR therapy practitioner, helping other clinicians grow their EMDR practice (I am an EMDR consultant), and I recently published a book, under the title “The Art and Science of EMDR: Helping Clinicians Bridge the Path from Protocol to Practice”

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am excited about healing, which in simple words means a complete elimination of symptoms. I think that many therapists don’t believe that this is a possibility, but I know, firsthand, that this is my job. I am a great believer in the body and the brain’s ability to move toward healing when the right opportunity presents itself. After about a decade of working as a psychotherapist and thinking that my job was to help people feel a little better, I started practicing EMDR and saw tremendous results in my clients’ lives. Since then I’ve been utilizing other methods that are transformative and have the potential to heal my clients’ symptoms and help them live a full life.
