Meet ryan goins | Kung Fu,Tai Chi, and Qi Gong teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with ryan goins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ryan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Nothing is free. I wanted to continue learning and hone my art.
I figured the best way was to start a small side business
teaching and sharing what I learned.
Which funds my continued travels and studies.
let it pay for itself kind of thing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Colorado’s natural spaces have so much to offer in all seasons, it would be hard to pick just a few spots. There’s definitely something for everyone. Hiking in Garden of the Gods, snowboarding in Breckinridge, fishing the upper Arkansas River, Rodeo in Pueblo, Elk hunting in the mountains, bird hunting in the plains, a train trip up Royal Gorge… as much of the great outdoors as we can pack in. I would spend at least one day in farm country as well. There’s no substitute for local food fresh from the farm. You can’t come to Colorado without seeing a concert at Red Rocks. To top it off, I’d check out the local music scene.
