We had the good fortune of connecting with Savvy Walker and Kristi Jenkins-Correa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Savvy Walker and Kristi Jenkins-Correa, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind our success at Signarama Fort Collins is our customer service. We pride ourselves on being reliable—not just for our customers, but also for our team. Strong relationships, clear communication, and trust are at the heart of everything we do.

Our team is truly the foundation of our success. We would be nothing without their dedication, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Every morning, we start with a team meeting to align our goals, tackle challenges together, and set the tone for a productive and positive day. This collaborative approach allows us to stay efficient, adaptable, and focused on providing the best possible service to our customers.

By prioritizing our team’s success, we naturally create an environment where excellent customer service thrives. When our team is strong, our business is strong—and that’s what allows us to stand out in our industry.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Signarama Fort Collins, we do more than just make signs—we help businesses bring their brands to life. We specialize in high-quality, custom signage solutions that help companies stand out, whether it’s through eye-catching storefront signs, vehicle wraps, banners, or environmental graphics. What truly sets us apart is our commitment to customer service, reliability, and problem-solving. We take pride in being a trusted partner to our clients, making the process smooth, efficient, and stress-free.

Both Kristi and I come from small towns in Georgia, and we’ve always felt destined for more. Taking over Signarama Fort Collins in 2023 was driven by our vision of creating a workplace where employees are excited to come to work and eager to tackle new projects. We are incredibly proud to be a women-owned and operated business, fostering an environment that supports creativity and collaboration.

We love being a part of the Fort Collins community, and we’re committed to making a positive impact through our work. Our journey into business ownership wasn’t easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. We faced a steep learning curve, navigating everything from payroll and taxes to the daily challenges of running a business.

One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is the importance of adaptability. No two projects are the same, and business ownership requires the ability to pivot, learn, and keep moving forward—even when things don’t go as planned.

What we want the world to know about Signarama Fort Collins is that we’re not just a sign company—we’re a partner in helping businesses grow. We care deeply about our customers, our community, and creating sustainable signage solutions that keep Fort Collins beautiful. Owning this business has been a journey of hard work, passion, and perseverance, and we’re just getting started!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If our best friend were visiting Fort Collins, we’d take them to some of our favorite spots to experience the best of what our town has to offer. We’d definitely start with a hike at Horsetooth Reservoir, where we can enjoy breathtaking views and maybe even have a picnic by the water. It’s the perfect way to soak in the natural beauty of the area.

In the evening, we’d head to Old Town Fort Collins. It’s magical at night with all the lights, and we’d love to show them the charming streets and local shops. We’d find a cozy restaurant downtown for dinner—perhaps a place like The Rio for some delicious Mexican food and their famous margaritas.

Of course, we can’t miss out on Fort Collins’ fantastic breweries! We’d spend a day visiting local favorites like New Belgium Brewing and Odell Brewing Company, sampling different craft beers and enjoying the laid-back atmosphere. We’d make sure to grab some food from nearby food trucks or brewery restaurants to keep the good vibes going.

Throughout the week, we’d love to introduce them to the local community. Fort Collins has a vibrant arts scene, so we’d explore local galleries and maybe catch a live show at a venue like The Aggie Theatre. We’d make sure to find time to relax in the beautiful Gardens on Spring Creek or take a leisurely stroll along the Poudre River Trail.

Most importantly, we want our friend to feel the warmth and charm of Fort Collins, a place where everyone comes together to create something special. It would be a week filled with good food, great company, and unforgettable memories!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our journey at Signarama Fort Collins wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of others, and we want to give a huge shoutout to Kim & Kent Christensen of Fort Collins Plastics. From our very first day in business, they have gone above and beyond to help us thrive.

Whether it’s answering our questions about payroll, taxes, or simply navigating the everyday stresses of business ownership, they have always been there with guidance, encouragement, and a willingness to share their knowledge. Their generosity and mentorship have made such a difference in our journey, and we are beyond grateful for their support.
