We had the good fortune of connecting with Shannon Cockreham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shannon, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think the most important factor behind any successful business is customer satisfaction. We work very hard to not only meet our customer’s expectations but to exceed them every time. We do not feel that we have been successful on a job if we have not gone above and beyond to delight our customers.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My husband and I own a roofing franchise. We have always wanted to start and run our own business so when the right circumstances fell into place, we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the Bumble Roofing brand. With integrity, quality, customer satisfaction and outstanding craftsmanship as well as environmental stewardship as its cornerstones, we knew that Bumble was a good fit for us. We have steadily been growing our business and expanding our offerings and while it has been a bumpy ride at times, we are so happy to have ventures down this path of entrepreneurship. As Daniel Coyle teaches us “The road to success is paved with mistakes well handled,” so we are enjoying the adventure and learning to embrace the journey while learning and growing from our failures and striving daily to handle any of our mistakes well.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband and family deserve a lot if credit for supporting the startup and development of a home services business as well as many friends who have supported the journey through sound advice, encouragement and a shoulder to cry on from time to time.
